yall... i almost didnt get this... i saw a couple negiative things about it being difficult to get in and out of and parts either missing or messed up. i would like to preface this to say ive never owned a hammock before and think ive only ever been in one, one time in my whole 27 years... now... this was the easiest thing ive ever put together. it literally just folds out and you set it to the height and width you want. boom. attach your hammock that also has multiple chain links to choose how low you want it to sit. bam. done. sitting in this thing is tricky im assuming this with all hammocks... the first time i sat down in it, i am unashamed to admit i flipped backwards luckly on to grass. (PRO TIP straddle your hammock and then sit instead of from one side) this hammock does sit very low even on its tallest setting. but once settled in its great. getting out of it is a little bit of a struggle im a curvy young lady (again unashamed to admit) i rolled out of it into the grass lol. FULL HONESTY you get what you pay for. i was looking for a pretty* affordable* hammock that was easy* to set up and take down that i could take places*(folds up into a handy zippered carrying case) and thats exsactly what i found! this was a great purchase and my dog and i whole heartedly love this hammock. ... show more

Don't get into this unless you're young enough to get up from a deep squat, or you have somebody around to help you get up from it, or you don't mind slipping out onto your rear end and then raising yourself up from there. It hangs way too low for somebody my age. And it isn't the fact that it's a two-point hammock. I have a 2 point hammock in the backyard that hangs higher, and I can get out of that just fine. Also, the fabric is pretty dense and has virtually no give, so it doesn't really hammock you from side to side. It's more like you are lying on a stretched piece of fabric than in a hammock. ... show more

This hammock is made in Vietnam, and as someone who grew up in VN and used this kind of hammock all the time, I love it. However, I later discovered that Lowe's sells the exact same hammock at $70 and free shipping. That's $15 less than this one.

If you intend on using this set up out of the box I think it's great. It folds up well and is easy to store, setting it up is done in a minute. Thr hammock that comes with it is likely fine for lounging around the deck or yard. I bought this as a solution to sleep at work (not during work) after long hours with minimal time between shifts. I hike and camp, sleeping in a hammock so I know it's comfortable. I intended to use one of my camping hammocks with this stand which are very different than the style this comes with. Ultimately I found a solution after some tweaking. This base is light and sturdy and I don't worry about it collapsing with me in it. Very happy with the purchase and since there doesn't seem to be an affordable, packable option for a camping hammock I'd buy this again without a doubt ... show more

This is the second time I ordered it. The former for myself, the later for my friend. I do affirm about its sturdiness and easily to assemble. You can use it to take a nap but better not using for the whole night. It really brings you relaxation every time you feel tired and want to rest. The title says it all. Our previous hammock and stand both gave up the ghost because rusted and impossible to store away. This one is smaller but will last years. It really is stable and color is awesome.

Our old Vietnamese indoor hammock broke and this one is the perfect replacement. The new one is much sturdier than the old one we have. We use this to rock the baby to sleep and really needed a quick replacement. Thank you so much!

I BOUGHT THIS FOR HUBBY BECAUSE HE WATCHES TV IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIR AND HAS PROBLEMS WITH HIS LEGS. HE SET IT UP VERY EASY, GOT ON IT, SAYS ITS COMFORTABLE, BUT HE FELL OFF IT WHEN TRYING TO GET OUT AND HE ONLY WEIGH 145, I DONT KNOW HOW IT WOULD BE ON A HEAVIER PERSON. JUST BE EXTRA CAREFUL
