    • Doesn't feel very sturdy to me.
I bought these to lock a delivery box outside. I don't think so. These are more for locking a plastic tub, or maybe a school locker, or a kid's secret box. It was super easy to change the combination. I will not trust these outside in the weather or with anything significant. They seem to me like one good hit with a hammer and it's over. Disappointed that they won't work for what I bought them for. But they'll work for insignificant things. I'm not going to return them because I can find other uses for them and they do actually work.     • Locks Do Not Last Very Long
I bought these in Feb 2024 and it is now 3 months later and 2 of the 4 are inoperable already. I just had to install the 3rd because the 2nd already broke. What has happened is the lock will not longer snap locked, even though combo is set to the correct numbers. It just flat out stops allowing the hasp post to drop into the locking part. Its a good thing they were so cheap (at 4 locks for $10) but they just aren't durable for even moderate use ... show more

    • Good value, but not high security
This set of 4 locks is a great value. But it is important to recognize that they will not deter a determined thief; they aren't that secure. They will, however, hopefully inspire a less-motivated thief to move on and pick another target. The long shackle makes them suitable for many lockers; at the same time, however, the large interior (under-shackle) area makes them more vulnerable to destruction by a pry bar. The advertising indicates that they can be used for backpacks, and that was my originally-indended usage. Unfortunately, the diameter of the shackle is (slightly) too large to be used with mine. The media could not be loaded. Great little locks for your daily use! The four locks arrived in a small box with a paper sheet of printed directions. Setting up the lock code is a bit of a learning curve, but it's manageable. I think the past combination locks like these that I've used came with their codes already installed? But the thing with these locks is that you can choose your own code! That's neat. Customization, anyone? Yes, please! ... show more
