I just received and unboxed this game set and am blown away by the quality! The wood is beautiful and the pieces are sturdy and well-made. Even the packaging is impressive - they crafted it to minimize non-recyclable material. My 7yr old grandson will visit over Christmas and he is active. With colder weather he will need indoor play and this table with all its 4 options is JUST the thing! Even the fabric on the billiard table is super nice. There's nothing to rave about here but not much to complain about either. The assembly is a bit time consuming but easy to actually do. The majority of it is sturdy except ironically the pegs that hold the whole thing together. It's got an interesting overall design to make it useable but then suffers from lower quality material and inaccurate drilling of holes. If they had swapped the cheap balsa wood dowel rods with drop in metal supports the whole thing would be very sturdy but they cheaped out to save what, 34 cents? It's still a decent unit to get as a gift for a younger kid if you don't mind the idea that it *will* break within a few weeks and need some repair work. ... show more

we have played some of these games at various arcades and resorts and thought our grandkids might enjoy a set like this. Lots of parts to line up but it's worth it. Perfect introduction to a couple of fun table games. Next we'll get them full size versions.

The only reason it was given a 4 star is because the 1st one ordered was damaged, did the replacement method and a 2nd one was shipped. Luckily, we still had the damaged one (they didn't want it returned) because the 2nd one was missing the hardware for the foosball table and the legs. The game table itself is very nicely made tho.
