This was a Christmas gift for our 5 year old son. He absolutely loves it. This was worth the money - it works well, sounds good and is the cutest thing ever! It looks and sounds like the real deal - just a miniature version. The amp is also functional - meaning you can turn it up, down, and hear it pretty well. You can tune it like a real guitar. It is very durable - our son halls it everywhere and plays it anytime he can. I highly recommend this guitar!

Ordered this as a precursor to getting my daughter a Squire Mini Strat, and i am IMPRESSED by this. Although it does need a few changes, its still a really great product for someone who wants their kids to seriously learn an instrument. Took it out the box and set up the action/intonation on it and changed the strings out for some Ernie Ball Zippy Slinkys. Make sure you tune this to A if youre keeping the original strings, the Ernie Balls handle E tuning abit better (remember to always stretch out new strings). The amp isnt bad but it isnt good, but for the purpose of use it functions great! The single coil is abit microphonic and has alot of background chatter, but after hooking it up to my pc using amp modeling software with a good noise gate, it sounded pretty bluesy. The chord, strap, and guitar case are abit on the flimsy side but the price point kinda explains it (compared to a squire mini strat package that goes for 299-359). Overall 0 complaints on build quality and sound, but would definitely take the time to adjust it out of the box (as you should with ANY guitar regardless of price point).

It’s pretty great quality for the price. The guitar itself is surprisingly well put together, but of course it’s not comparable to some other high end guitars. It’s a nice size for young beginners, and it at least has the illusion of being official-looking. I have 2 complaints about the accessories, though. 1- the tuner is quite terrible. 2- the amp a bit concerning because it picks up random conversations from god knows where. Lol. I dont know what frequencies this thing operates on, but it’ll just pull a voice and broadcast it in your home. Just hope it’s polite.

This product is absolute garbage. I kind of assumed that based on the price point, but it managed to somehow surpass my extremely low expectations. The frets were actually so jagged and rough that I had to take a metal file and sandpaper to them before they approached anything close to usable. The strings were rusty, the amp has no volume (as expected), and is full of feedback. Plugging the guitar into a proper amp results in a ton of noise, presumably due to the low grade pickups and wiring. The strap is essentially razor wire designed to distract me from the quality of the guitar my lacerating my neck. And the strap falls off constantly. The bridge hardware was stripped and rusty, and one tuning machine doesn't stay tight and can't be adjusted. The intonation is way off so that if you get individual strings in tune, they still aren't in tune with each other. If you hate your child, or love seeing them disappointed, get them this for Christmas. The picks work great.

I was worried that I was going to receive a toy instead of something real that my kid could genuinely learn how to play with. When I took the guitar out of that package I was impressed! It’s lightweight which is perfect for my recently turned 4 year old. The string height was perfect, the base was the right size for a kid, and it’s fully functional - very good buy.
