I’m actually very impressed with how much value this beginner set delivers especially for young kids just discovering their love of music. To begin with, this kit is truly all inclusive. It comes with the 30″ scaled electric guitar sized perfectly for children, a 5W amplifier, strap, gig bag, extra strings, tuner, picks, and cleaning cloth. You don’t need to buy anything else to get a kid playing right out of the box, and that convenience is huge for a first instrument experience. The size and feel are fantastic for smaller hands. My son (age 7) could comfortably hold it, reach the notes, and start learning basic chords without frustration, which is key to keeping him engaged and excited to practice. The wood body and glossy finish make the guitar feel more substantial than the typical toy guitar, and the included padded gig bag makes storage and transport easy. The amplifier is surprisingly capable for its size. It is battery powered and compact and it gives a nice little boost to the guitar’s natural tone. While it’s not stage ready (no surprise there), it’s perfect for bedroom jam sessions and builds confidence as kids explore their talent. What really won me over was the fun factor. My son’s face lit up the first time he plugged it in. Accessories like extra picks and a strap make it feel like a real musician’s kit, not just a toy. If I had to nitpick, dedicated players might eventually want upgrades or professional setup (recommended for long term play), but for a beginner guitar that inspires practice and creativity, this kit delivers great value and lots of fun. I would rate this a 4 based on value. I paid $79 for this guitar December 2025. It comes with the guitar, amp, cable, picks, strap and a tuner so you really do get everything you need to start. Pros: - You can actually play this guitar and it stays in tune relatively well (see video, excuse my sloppy playing) - You could begin to teach a child how to play electric guitar using this - The pickup/electronics are nice for the cheap guitar and sound great through a real amp Cons: - You need to know how to setup the guitar - the action comes very high which means the strings are super far away from the fretboard, making it hard to play and stay intune. You can figure this out on Youtube but its really not playable right away - Probably want to change the strings - To get the action low enough, the tail piece becomes uncomfortable to play/rest your hand on so you can't palm mute or teach a child how to do so - The frets on both sides of the fretboard are sharp - not enough to cut - but enough to potentially dissuade a child from wanting to use the guitar - The amp works but it needs a battery and it sounds very bad - The bag is very flimsy and outside of it making the guitar easier to carry, it offers no protection Overall, I could recommend this guitar to someone who knows how to setup a guitar and knows a little bit about being a luthier. It would be great for a child who is interested or who you would like to get interested because it is playable and not a toy - but not so expensive or BIG to where you wouldn't want a child touch it. You can throw a battery in the amp and let them wail away. Good value for the price and home play/learning but wouldn't reccomend purchasing to give to a child before their first lesson at a music store. ... show more

Would not recommend!!!! Do not buy!!!!! The small amplifier that comes with it. Does not work not even a little bit. Ended up talking to the company and they sent a whole new set and said that I was able to keep both for the inconvenience which was very nice and not necessary but much appreciated nevertheless the replacement came in and guess what that didn’t work either so had to go and buy a working amp for my son who’s been waiting patiently to actually hear his guitar work. So end result was paid more then what I initially wanted which might not seem like a huge deal but for the same money could have gotten a better quality product and no Hassle. Again I would not recommend if your actually wanted to use the guitar for its purpose. ... show more
