The bundle works for basic podcasting or streaming, and it’s nice to have everything in one package. That said, they clearly went for the cheapest components, and the sound board doesn’t use XLR, so you’ll likely need to upgrade it later. The microphones and voice changer are okay for casual use, but don’t expect professional-level quality.

The gear has a pretty cheap feel. It honestly looks like a toddlers “My First Podcast Kit”. Definitely not impressed with the build quality or the fit and finish. Cheap printing, cheap fitment, cheap cables. And the sound was consistent with the poor construction quality of the gear. I honestly am having a hard time understanding other reviews here. I got a lot of noise and interference. The mic delivered very high-end scratchy sound without any low end richness or depth there is plenty of a noise introduced in the signal. Even taking the cost into account, I cannot recommend this. I did not get listenable results by any means and if you try to make a recording with this, nobody is going to want to play it. It is possible I got a defective unit I guess taking into account the other reviews. But I’m very experienced with audio, music and recording, and I could not take anything of what this does seriously.

I debated how to rate this after playing with it for a big. Let's start with quality. The materials are pretty cheap. The microphones don't feel substantial, the cables don't seem to be very high quality. Now I'm a podcaster with a few years of experience so I'm comparing this to what we normally use in the studio. We normally use dynamic mics and a podtrack (not the highest end, but we get good quality). These mics actually give you decent sound and might be a good choice if you don't have a good room for recording. They seem to filter out a lot of the room noise. My biggest complaint is that you can't individually adjust the gain on each microphone. To record to your phone, you'll need a connection unless you have an 8mm input on your phone. I was shocked all the input and output are 8mm which is really odd for a studio set up. My biggest complaint is that the boom arms are incredibly cheap and not sturdy. Trust me, if you are going to need to move your mics around, go invest in a good boom because these don't clamp securely to anything in our studio. They don't even open wide enough to clamp on our desktop which is a few inches thick. I like that it comes with the pop filter and shock mount though. There are some fun effects including echo, sound effects, and voice modulation. If you're a new podcaster, this will at least give you a set up you can use until you can invest in better quality. I wouldn't use it for a 2 host show though since you can't individually adjust the gain on the mics and that will get frustrating to adjust if one of your hosts is louder than the other. We still haven't figured out how to best use all the features because we only tinkered with it for about an hour. It does have a way to bluetooth connect it to your phone but as far as I can tell so far, you can only use that to use your phone for accompaniment not record through the bluetooth to your phone. The earbuds are comfortable but cheap and I recommend studio headphones because they'll give you better feedback as you record. The instructions that came with it are really lacking. This is mostly a play with it to figure it out because the instructions are just one little folded piece of paper and it tells you all the effects buttons but doesn't label them so you're going to have to tinker to figure it out. If you're going to get frustrated by that, this may not be the set up for you. But at this price point, it will get you started. Just know that when it comes to podcasting, you'll need to work on your sound quality fast. So, we'll be using this as a backup setup in case we need it. Or if we need to record in a more noisy environment, the noise isolation seems to work well. But.. you're not going to get a good velvety sound out of it and as soon as you can upgrade, you should. As we continue to tinker with this, I'll update this review if I come across anything else you need to know.
