I CAN NOT believe the INSANELY poor quality of this guitar I purchased for my son. I understand a kids guitar is not going to be of the same caliber of quality that a guitar fit for an adult may be. However, ive been playing for 20 years and NEVER have I experienced such an unsatisfactory instrument. It is impossible to tune these strings. I believe it’s everything from the poor build, to the obviously cheap material used to build it. Pick ups included. And CAN YOU BELIEVE, they didn’t sand down the side of the neck where your son or daughter will slide their fingers and palm across sharp, unfinished metal. A Lawsuit? Possibly unfortunately. I bought this as a christmas gift and every single one was sold out for 69.99 so i had to buy the 100 dollar black one and the only difference is it comes with a digital tuner. Idk if its worth paying 30 dollars more for just that, but i didn't have a choice at the time. Works well and child liked it. I cant compare it to anything else as i don't play instruments myself. I just seen good reviews on this one compared to other similar priced beginner guitars on here. ... show more

My 5 year old son loves his guitar, it is great for kids that want to get into guitars. The only problem I have is that the metal wasn’t shaved down on the neck which hurts his hands at times.

I have been an Amazon fan for some time now. Rarely have I been disappointed in them. One of those times was for this item. Now, first, the guitar itselt is pretty remarkable. I got this for my grandson, but had to check it out for myself. I've played the guitar for a number of years and one of the first things I take into account is a guitar's ability to not only be tuned, but to stay in tune for a reasonable period. That is to say one is not constantly having the re tune it. This guitar met that standard. Next, of course, was the sound. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with the sound of the amp and the pick up on the guitar. My grandson is a tall 4 year old and I think this will fit him perfectly. I think he will love it. Now with the disappoitment part. Amazon, who seems to pride itself on packaging, fell very short on this. The box when delivered was 3/4 opened. Nothing torn, just the packing tape was all off say for the side of the box. The guitar itself was in another box that was open and the contents had spilled out into the shipping box. The shipping box was very large for such a small guitar and the paper used to keep the guitar from moving inside the box was not enough to come close in keeping the guitar from shifting all over the place during shipment. Missing from the combo kit was the cord to plug the guitar into the amp. I guess it could have fallen out during shipment due to the poor packaging. I did chat with Amazon about replacing the missing piece and was given the phone number of the provider. I called them and was told that since it was Prime on Amazon, Amazon itself was supposed to take care of that. I very much liked the guitar and as of right now this color is not available so I sucked it up and bought a cord since I didn't want to return the guitar itself, just wanted a cord replacement. ... show more
