This table is overall very cute once installed..however it is much shorter than expected. I knew it would be a small table but it’s actually very tiny. Great if you have very limited space though. The installation was easy and estimated time says 30 mins but took me longer because I didn’t read the instructions clearly. The wood also doesn’t feel like wood, feels like laminate flooring. This table and chairs fit perfectly in my one-bedroom apartment. I'm a single guy but I don't like eating meals off a coffee table, while sitting on the couch, in front of the TV. This set greatly exceeded my expectations. It's easy on the eyes and makes me feel like I have a bit of class. At least more than the average schmuck, living alone, in a one-bedroom apartment. Who knows, perhaps in the near future, I'll share a nice dinner with a lady friend now that I have 2 chairs and a table. Prior to this, I had one chair and a small patio table that I bought on clearance at Home Depot. Upward mobility, that's what I love about America. As far as assembly goes... It was very easy to assemble. In fact, I timed myself and it took me 35 minutes from the time I opened the box to having the table set up. No missing parts and no parts left over. Important... FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! Don't fly by the seat of your pants and if you're not wearing pants, still... FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! They labeled the part bags based on the length of the screws. The instructions will tell you which screws to use and where to use them. I read the negative reviews and would like to address a few of them: Some of the reviewers complained about the center bars hitting their knees. That's a valid complaint. If you look at my 2nd picture, you'll see that my table has 4 horizontal bars and not 6. I used an angle grinder to cut off the 2 outer bars. WHAT?!!! Yes, that's right! Wine rack schmine rack. Who needs an under the table wine rack? I ordered a cheap basket and now I have someplace to throw my mail instead of dropping it on the table. Mr./Ms. Manufacturer, take note: No one is going to use those bars to store wine and 4 are plenty to make the table sturdy. I'm 5'10" and with those 2 outer bars removed, I find sitting at the table quite comfortable. Some said the table and or chairs wobbled after assembly. This will not happen if you do 3 things. One, assemble the table and chairs strictly in the order stated in the instructions. Two, only finger tighten all the screws leaving about 1/8 inch between the screw head and the piece you are assembling. Three, only tighten the screws fully when you have the table/chair on a flat surface. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. After snugging all the screws down, I taped the two allen wrenches to the bottom of the chairs. In six months if I need to retighten, I won't have to look for them. Some reviewers said the nuts pulled out of the wood (particle board) when they tightened them. Once again... DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! Again for good measure... DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! I hope this helps you, the discerning Amazon shopper, make a decision on the purchase of this dining set. Sorry about the length of this review but if you've hung in this far at least you've learned a life lesson... DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! :) ... show more

Very nice, sturdy set. I feel that it is way overpriced, but we really needed a small compact table for an Assisted Living room, so we bit the bullet. Nice place for coffee and snacks.

ok,must important when putting these type of things together is just to hand tighten all the screws before you use the tool to tighten.there's always,always some misalignment to these type of products,by hand tightening them there's a little play in aligning up the screw holes.well i was doing great even following the instructions,i assembled the table no problems,moved onto the next chair,no problems .....now i'm doing the old hand tightening of the screws and i can't get 2 screws to thread??well i break out my phone and look into the holes,no threads at all....someone forgot to tread this part...ok i just need another part,i go to problem with order,do the chat they want me to disassemble the whole thing and return it then purchase another one and hope there isn't anything wrong with that one.....really.I'm fairly handy so I think I can tap the part myself,just have to buy the tools, they offer to compensate me $5 ? Wow..... I was not happy with that but then they offered 14.99 so i said yes "at least that would cover most of the cost of tools "which so far I haven't received"....... in retrospect I should of just ordered another removed the part i needed to repair my chair and sent that one back, that would of been easier then taking my table apart..... anyway hope you guys have better luck than i ....... ... show more
