It is for 2 people as it says. My daughter and I can lay in there easily as we usually do in South America. It is very strong. really wide! no, really! understand that. I can chrysalis myself really well in this, but if I'm laying there and don't want all the extra material wrapping around me, it's a bit tricky. Probably ideal as a 2-person, which is what the product notes. But since it is used for both one and two people, I figured I'd better mention the width. color is nice, but the cloth definitely makes the color look better in the picture compared to in person. This is a great hammock for the price--it's very sturdy and fit my existing hammock frame. My only issue is that the hammock itself smelled a bit musty when I took it out of the box, like it had been sitting in the warehouse for a while. A quick turn in the washer and dryer fixed that, but future customers should just be aware that you may want to give yours a wash too! ... show more

I love this hammock. Good material. It did have a weird smell to it but I believe that was just the materials and packaging. It has aired out quite a bit just from being left out overnight. I had a similar hammock last year, same material and color, but it was a single. This is definitely a great hammock for 2! It does not come with any hooks or attachment parts, it is just the hammock itself and the carrying bag. It does not have a bar on the ends to help it lay more flat so it does fold around you a bit if just one person is in it. I like to lay in it sideways by myself with my foot on the ground so I can swing it back and forth. It is the perfect size to lay in it that way instead of the other. Since this is basically the exact same hammock I had last year but for two, it is not one you want to leave out to be weathered. It will mold by the end of the season. This item shipped quick with no problems. I would definitely purchase again. This is a great price for this item, especially compared to the others offered. ... show more

Two people would have a hard time fitting in the hammock I received and it’s material is thinner and dimensions appear smaller than the one pictured. I was replacing an old hammock I purchased several years ago at less than half the price, similar in appearance but not quality. I expect this won’t last long if left hanging all season and the grandkids get to it. Just a tip in general - MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE YOUR HAMMOCK STAND BEFORE YOU BUY ANY HAMMOCK. I had to return several before I got to this one. Anyway… I love the colors of this hammock, they’re so pretty. But mostly I love that it’s super comfortable, feels like you’re being swaddled. My dog also likes to jump in sometimes for a nap, it’s hard not to fall asleep in. Ive washed this hammock already and it held up fine, and I dried it on low in the dryer but have also dried it outside on a line. but a tip - loosely tie the rope ends into one big knot so they don’t get all thrashed around in the wash. I absolutely love this hammock. I got it for Christmas and it has been used several times since then. It can comfortably fit two people. I’m not sure how much weight it can hold but it has thick loops at both ends that I used S-hooks to attach to chains on my hammock stand that I already had. If you want to be fully covered with just a sliver to look out of you can do that or fold down the sides a little to lay them flat. Love the color of mine also! Very good price and quick shipping. I take mine down if I know it’s going to rain or if it won’t be in use for awhile so it will last longer but that’s a personal preference. I recommend this hammock 100% !!! ... show more
