Get assistance if you have arthritis or pain/weakness otherwise in the wrists. Frame took me around 15 minutes to figure out and assemble; you get a little hex key and a tiny disposable wrench; is straight-forward, but slow going and can be a bit painful to get appropriately tight. That said, the frame's very sturdy; the cross-beams are thick; the welding on the corner pieces seems good. All's well that ends well.

We bought this as an inexpensive way to stage our home to sell. But, wow! This frame is great. It's solid, easy to put up, and has super storage underneath. My husband built a custom frame for storage purposes, but here's one already done for minimal cost. Great buy.

Let me first say, we are not idiots, we purchase and put things together all the time. But the Instructions image was backwards, so took 2 people 2 hours to put this nightmare together because the orientation was wrong. But once we realized that, then it all fit correctly. I have absolutely no idea what went wrong. Seemed sturdy. One person (me) got on very slowly. Crawled to the middle. The second I crawled past the middle, BOOM. Crashed 18 inches to the ground in what sounded like a car accident, all that metal on the wood floor. Sent me into a panic attack in front of my kids. Back is HURTING. Now I gotta pack this crap up and send it back. No idea what the issue was. Be careful. It really hurt and could have killed our pets who like to crawl under beds.

This product works as intended! I purchased a king size to replace my wooden slats. It’s fairly easy to put together, however it did take me roughly 2.5 hours by myself due to the fact that u have to put the corner brackets on in a specific position or it will not work. Other than that, it works great!
