It took me some time to warm up to this rug, not because it's a bad product, but because I had different expectations. The description called it "chenille," which, to me, conjures up a soft, looped fabric like a bath mat or maybe my mom's old bedspread. This rug, however, is surprisingly flat and tightly woven, almost mat-like. The first comment I heard perfectly captures my initial reaction: "Is it upside down? Is that the back?" Yes, it does resemble the back of a quality rug, a look I'm familiar with from flipping woven rugs for extra wear before cleaning. It's an aesthetic I actually appreciate, whether on those rugs or this one. I was just surprised it wasn't the cheap, short-plush, "surface-printed-to-imitate-threadbare" boho rug I had envisioned. Turns out, it's something better. Now that I've used it for a while, I appreciate how easy the flat, tightly woven surface is to keep looking fresh, especially for a light-colored rug. Vacuuming pet hair is a breeze with this flat weave, as dirt and hair stay on top instead of getting lodged within the fibers. My cat even threw up on it, but it cleaned up without a trace. The rug is technically machine-washable, but I'm not sure my side-loader washer can handle a 5' x 7' rug, so I'll stick to traditional cleaning methods. The rug arrived loosely folded and odor-free. There were some creases from the fold lines, so I laid it down, vacuumed from the center outwards, and used the vacuum's weight to help smooth out the folds. It improved, but some faint lines remained a week later. If I were feeling particularly picky, I'd break out the steamer to minimize them further, but they're honestly not noticeable enough to bother me. The backing does tend to slip a bit on my wood floor. Luckily, adhesive strips are included to anchor the rug corners. Personally, I prefer to use anti-slip rug mats, as they add a bit of extra cushioning for my arthritic dog.

You can see in the first picture how the rug arrived all folded up, along with the corner sticky pieces. This sort of threw me for a minute, because for some reason I was expecting the rug to come in a roll. The folded shape does create creases in the rug when it is opened up. However, these creases do seem to be easing away now that the rug is on the floor. I expect that with time, they will disappear entirely. (Ignore the slight fold up of the rug in my second picture. The cedar chest is to heavy for me to lift on my own and slip the carpet squares from under the feet and this rug edge under the chest. That will have to wait for when I have help...) This rug comes with edging for the corners to keep them stuck to the floor, which is really nice. Most rugs that I have seen you have to purchase these separately. The colors in the rug seem to be true to the picture. Time will tell how well the rug holds up, but I am pleased with it at this time.

Ordered this BESBLEE Area Rugs for Living Room to go into a new space we are building in the spring. We have ordered a few of these thin rugs on Amazon so far and it's interesting how much they differ while still being a thin boho rug. This Rug came folded neatly in a plastic bag with a bar code and label to identify the contents. It also came with a small package of grips for the floor, but I did not try to use them. The colors are a little bit too distressed in my opinion. As you can see from the photo the pattern is minimal which does look similar to the listing so no reduction in rating there. Compared to the last rug I ordered this one is about 20% cheaper and they seem to have the same kind of backing and thickness, the only real difference being I think the length and softness of the material on the other mat (well and more vibrant colors) This rug is significantly less slippery underfoot. I feel like the softness comes at a cost of them being less stable underfoot. I rated this item at4 stars because I feel like the listing does accurately reflect the product, it is less slippery and distressed in nature. The price seems in line with the many others listed for sale. Only nit pick is that there is no effort at all put into branding or instructions and I think to some extent that kind of product support is worth noting.

This rug looks incredibly beautiful; the muted colors pair wonderfully with a neutral aesthetic. Placing it in my bedroom has made the room appear more put together and added some color without being overwhelming. The only aspect I don't love is the lack of softness; it does have a rough feel. However, since I'm not spending much time sitting on the rug, it doesn't bother me too much!

The rug is a nice size and well made. Unfortunately it is also as advertised, which means it is thin. This likely aids in being able to wash it but I just can't get comfortable with it being this thin. The colors are faint and not vibrant which is also as advertised.

I needed a rug for my hardwood floor in my den, so I ordered this one. The colors are nice - neutral enough to go anywhere in my house. When it came, it did have fold marks, but they do go away after a day or two. I love that I can vacuum this rug for regular cleaning and even wash it in the washing machine if needed. The material is very soft - my dog has already claimed her spot on it. I love the softness on my feet when I walk across it. The design is nice and the colors look nice. It's well made and durable. I'm completely happy with this nice rug and recommend it to others.

When I saw this rug I immediately knew that I wanted it for my office. It’s a low pile rug so easy for my desk chair to roll on it and it’s washable. I don’t normally have drinks in there but it’s good to know that I can launder it. The pattern is more traditional and it totally changed the look of the space. The best part is that it’s affordable.

This is a nice rug. I like that it is not chenille like many washable rugs. The flat pile seems like it will wear well and be easy to clean. I am using it under a small kitchen table and it lays flat on the tile floor. Colors are true to photos. I wish that they had larger sizes and more variety of colors because I would buy them.
