These back braces run small so order a size up. It is light weight and cool and I gave it 4 stars because of 3 sewn in hard bars on the back and when you lean back in a chair or on the sofa those bars stick in your back. They seem flexible for me to cut a slit in the bar area and take them out so that is what I plan to do. Or keep them in and take it off when you sit down because they do not bother me standing up or walking. Other than that it is very comfortable. Also it fits snug in some areas but a little loose near the waist line. I do like the reinforcement straps.

Okay first things first. Once you get it out of the bag and try to use it - BE PATIENT! Sadly I am NOT one of those guys who really looks at the Directions. It took me abit to get it so I could put it on - Once I figured it out - smooth as pudding. And It really helped my back when I was washing my truck or pulling weeds in the back yard (ugh)! So as they say it may "behoove you to look at the directions." Good Advice - LWL VA.

I saw the reviews saying to go up a size, but my waist measures at the lower end of the range of the size I ordered so I was like meh, it'll be fine. It is not fine. It doesn't fit at all. I'm not super worried about it as Im on a weightloss journey so itll fit in no time. But when it says it's for waists 43-51 and you think that fits your 44 inch waist even if it runs small...no it doesn't, go up a size anyway. What I can say is that it seems very sturdy. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all so I'm still looking forward to some pain relief once I get one that fits.

This product provides support stabilizing my lower back when doing yard work. It has the added advantage of being easy to put on, adjust, and remove. Perforations in the elastic webbing offer some relief when wearing the belt in hot weather. Only downside is the width tapers narrower (more so than product photos showed) where it attaches in front which can cause some discomfort where rib cage meets abdomen.

I have degenerative disk disease. When I play golf, my back will hurt for days. I was taking lots of Advil and Aleve and my doctor said I needed to stop.
