I bought this dress in the emerald green y-velvet floral option (the "color" name is so long) in a size XL. For sizing reference, I'm usually a medium or large on top and am currently either a 36E/36F. In bottoms and jeans, I'm usually a medium-large or a 8-12/29-31, and if it helps, I wear a size 6 or 8 in Lulu leggings. I'm 5'3" tall with a short torso, and my measurements are about 44"-33"-44" (bust-waist-hip) right now, give or take. I'd say this is TTS, or you could potentially size down. I got this to wear to a work holiday party coming up next month, and I felt this pretty velvet floral was the perfect choice for something like that. I sized up because I have a larger bust and wanted to make sure I had plenty of room, but I should have stuck with my usual size medium or large; either probably would have been good. My husband commented that this size looked really baggy, and I agree, though I'm sure I could still get away with wearing it. The material is heavy and absolutely stunning. I tried to take several pictures to really show the way the fabric lays on the body and the sheen the velvety floral pattern has, but I don't think I did it justice. The dress is double layered, as that floral material is actually sheer. The fluttery sleeves don't have a layer beneath so are just a tiny bit see-through, which I liked. The fit is pretty typical to a wrap dress, but I love that it has a slit. It isn't too obvious, so it's nothing you'll notice if you're just standing, as you can see in the two photos I took where I'm not really showcasing it - I honestly wish it was a little more obvious. As for the top, it has a little silver metal snap to keep it from falling open, but I really wish they'd instead done a black plastic snap, even though it wouldn't be as sturdy in the long run. I just feel the silver is super obvious against the dark fabric and I didn't personally love it. I would probably remove the snap all-together and just let the top stay a little more open, or maybe throw a little stitch in it to keep it where I want it. Not really a complaint since it's such a tiny detail and can be easily removed, but I wanted to mention it. By the way, this dress is a FAUX WRAP style, which it does point out, but I still wanted to mention it. My only real complaint about this dress is the price, but I guess for the quality, it isn't bad. It just felt steep for an Amazon dress. Overall, I really do love this dress but ended up returning it because it just felt too big. I have a few other dresses I'm waiting to try out, but if those don't work out, I'll probably reorder this in a smaller size. I'd definitely recommend it. I think this is really perfect for a holiday party and it's a more unique material than other dresses I've found on Amazon.

It’s a beautiful velvet dress that’s a true wrap dress. It has no lining inside but I believe it’s thick enough to not be see through. The material is beautiful, it’s vibrant, and the fabric fall perfectly it’s a nice heavy material. You cannot go wrong w sizing since it is very forgiving. It does have some slight stretch BUT keep in mind that it’s a wrap dress si you want to make sure it wraps around nicely. I am 5’1 and it dragged a little behind, but nothing a little heel can’t fix. I am usually between sizing M/L I grabbed a M and it fit perfectly hugged the right curves and fell nicely over parts I wanted to hide 🫣 haha it’s a must for sure! I did wear an undershirt because I wanted a modest look and pinned the bottom so the dress wouldn’t open while dancing, walking or sitting 👍🏼 hope it helps!

First off, I’ll say I really like the cut of these dresses…with my 2 month post partum body it hides a lot and is very flattering. That being said the quality is all over the board between the different styles. I originally purchased the polka dot light pink faux wrap and the black velvet floral faux wrap dresses. The light pink is very thin/cheap material with a satin-like finish and runs really big sizing wise with a plastic snap at the bust. The black velvet floral dress I absolutely love. Its beautiful heavy material with an extra layer underneath, Sizing is true to size and there’s a metal snap at the bust instead of a plastic one. (Although if you’d like to have more cleavage showing you’ll see the silver metal snap whereas when it’s snapped shut you don’t see it) Since the dress qualities were a night and day difference I returned the pink and kept the velvet floral dress. Second time around I wanted to try my current size and a size down in the light green Swiss dot style. I received a medium true wrap and a large faux wrap style in the light green Swiss dot material. The faux wrap style is way too big and the true wrap style is too small. I’m bummed because I really want this color and material in either style but neither fit because they are different cuts. It’s too much of a hassle to return and buy again in hopes that I get the correct cut, style and size that will fit properly. Two stars because their quality control is a total mess but five for the velvet floral dress that I absolutely love. Average is 3 stars for my overall experience with this seller and these dresses.
