  • Great quality, lightweight and durable
Size: 8.5 Color: Madison Avenue
Love them! Comfortable from day one, no break-in necessary. Light weight soles, great for everyday wear. I bought them to work in but now I want to wear them all the time. True to size, I ordered a half size up so I could wear thick wool socks with them in the winter and they’re perfect. When wearing normal socks the heel can feel a little loose but I anticipated that. ... show more

Size: 6 Wide Color: Madison Avenue
So cute and comfy. I have MS and I have worn Fatbaby boots all day long for years. They are stable, supportive, comfortable and very well made. They last forever. I have them in many different colors. I will definitely keep buying and wearing them.

  • Size up for thick socks or insoles
Size: 9 Color: Royal Chocolate/Fudge
Beautiful boots, very comfy, runs a bit small, had to return and reorder a size larger, but super excited to get them back.

  • Wrong size delivered but turns out for the best!
These are my first non-lace up boots. I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10. I spent many, many months trying to decide between a 9 and a 9 1/2 after trying some on in the store. The 9 was too tight but the 9 1/2 was too loose in the heel. Thanks to prime day I was forced to make a decision and I bought the 9 1/2. They arrived and felt really tight as I pulled them on. I checked the box and it said 9 1/2 then I checked the boots and they were a 9. I now think the Boot Gods were looking out for me. Once I get these boots stretched out and worn in (the tags on the side of my leg also rub so long socks until they soften up) they are going to be perfect. They are tight right now but with some warm steam they stretched enough to show me how great they will be in a few weeks. I think the heel in the 9 1/2 would have eventually driven me crazy and the boots would have become too big as they stretched with wear. I do a lot of walking in my boots and i can just imagine the blisters that would have turned up with the boot slippage. The boots themselves are very nice. A little lighter than the picture but a lovely simple, understated design. ... show more

  • Best first pair!
Size: 7.5 Color: Royal Chocolate/Fudge
Super comfy and no break in period needed! They ride like a dream from the first step! I have been wearing them now for 2 months and they are light weight my feet feel supported and so far the durability is great. I have also been in wet barn situations and the water hasn’t effected the quality.

  • This Vintage Disco Queen Took A Walk On the Cowgirl Side & Now Her Feet Are Riding Fatbaby(s) ;-)
Love these boots! Actually, I live in the northeast and resemble a cowgirl about as much as disco music resembles country music....you can see the similarities, right? This is my second pair of Fatbaby Boots. The first pair were purchased on a whim "gently used" from a seller on that most popular auction website that Ends in BAY. At the time I was looking for a sturdy boot to trudge through the icy, sloppy, new England winter in, not looking specifically for a "cowgirl" boot, but the price was unbeatable and I was curious. Here it is 2yrs later and it can be said that these boots are unbeatable and are still handsome to boot! They have been worn 5 out of 7 days per week for 3 seasons each year (would have been 4 seasons if I was 40yrs younger!). Most of my other boots and shoes are an 8.5 or euro 39. The Fatbaby boots I purchased on the auction website were an 8 and I was a little skeptical about the fit because I normally wear a size 8.5 shoe and can even go to a size 9 in a boot with thick socks on my feet. I have average width feet, not wide or narrow; I have a high arch and instep as well as a hammertoe on my left foot. (TMI?). However, the size 8 was perfect! So, I purchased these new Fatbaby Cowgirl boots in an 8, mostly because they were $20 less than the size 8.5 which I likely would have bought if the prices were the same. Once again, the size 8 fits perfectly right from the start, even in a brand new boot! These fit like a shoe approved by the American Orthopedic Association but look as fashionable (Wild?) as the Cowgirls that I imagine they were intended for! I wear these boots with medium weight wool blend socks. There is plenty of room for all my toes and there is no pressure across the top of my high instep or at the front of the boot across the ankle. I can not feel any of the seams or stitching the way other reviewers have written that they can. The back of the heel sometimes moves but does not rub or bind. The footbed is not like walking on a cloud. It is firm but comfortable and very supportive. The innersole is removeable and I can fit the semirigid type orthotics inside very comfortably if I choose to, but find orthotics are not necessary because the boot is very supportive in and of itself. The nonskid sole is not lugged and is not as thick as my first pair of Fatbaby Boots (which show absolutely no wear on the tread) but it does seem to be more than adequate. The shaft is soft and supple, not thick and rigid, fabric lined inside and suedelike finish outside. The height is just right on my leg under wool, corduroy, or denim pants. (I'm 5'6" and weigh about 140 lbs, size 10) The decorative stitching is lovely, the workmanship is high quality. The top opening is very roomy on me but I do have thinner than average calves. (Like I said, I'm no cowgirl) Great fit, Great fashion, Great performance, great price! These may be my second pair of Fatbaby Boots but I'm sure they will not be my last. Go ahead....take a walk on the Cowgirl side! ... show more
