I just had my sunroom renovated into a 4-season space. I want sure how I would use the new room as it has always served as a sort of mud room. I’ve always wanted a fire place for my pup to enjoy (and me too). I was inspired that this is the time. I did a lot of research and landed on this one. I read the reviews on Amazon and other sites. They are right, the flames and embers are pretty realistic and can be seen even during daylight (some other electric fireplaces I reviewed stated that as an issue). And the warmth from the heater is inviting especially now that we’re having cool autumn mornings now. Great timing. It arrived two days earlier than expected! The boxes are HUGE and heavy. I was able to slide them into the house with all of my 56yo brute strength. One of the reviews suggested assembling this near where you want to place the fireplace—REALLY good advice! I was able to assemble it all by myself in about 2.5 hours (56 yo woman). The directions are pretty straightforward. I did employ my legs and feet at times since I lack extra arms. There are some spots with a little bit of paint chipped away—nothing I can’t fix myself, but overall it arrived in perfect condition. It looks terrific and my dog already loves it as much as I do. I was able to get it on the big deal days so that was a healthy savings. I’m very excited about my new space and can’t wait to finish furnishing the room. This is a 5-star review after having it assembled for 2 days. My fingers are crossed that this will continue to be a great purchase for years to come. ... show more

I’d buy again. Just not super thrilled it was damaged a litl in shipping apparently. I ended up being hospitalized so we missed the return window. By the time we opened it, it was too late. So I wld suggest checking it Rt away. Even if you’re not putting it together Rt away. It heats our living rm and dining rm.(around 600sq ft) it’s electric heat so of course it will run up your bill a bit. Any electric heater will. Beautiful though. I honestly expected it to look a litl cheaper where it’s not real wood. But it is perfect for our space. (4 stars due to damage) ... show more
