I am 5’2” tall and 130 pounds; I carry my weight in my thighs/hips. I order the jacket in a large but returned it because it was a little snug around the hips, especially with the shearling lining. I reordered an XL and it is great. It is looser in the chest and waist but I wear a lot of layer so that works for me. I originally wanted this jacket because of the outer lining. I recently got a German Shepherd puppy and he is at the nipping and clawing stage; this fabric holds up great. It was exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. UPDATE: On December 11 I received the refund confirmation from Amazon, but as of today (December 27), I have NOT received the actual refund from the seller. ... show more

Bought this as an extra warm layer to wear to work on construction sites, as yet more clothing to get covered in paint and dust. There are so few options for women, it took me awhile to find Berne, and I’m still not convinced this was designed for women. It’s more like a men’s jacket that they modified....slightly. That said, it’s certainly warm and rugged, and something I don’t mind getting dirty. Also deducted a star because: “pomegranate” = hot pink. Consider yourselves warned. ... show more

I am very happy with my Berne coat. It fit true to size, I love the lined hood and it kept me warm on my fishing trip. I also purchased the Berne overalls and I have been extremely happy with those as well. I also love the blue color of my coat.
