The ultimate in comfort! This blanket is so soft and cuddly. I received this blanket as a gift right before I had surgery. I was amazed at how it aided in my recovery just because of the level of comfort it provided. I was able to control my own level of heat with the four settings that are provided through an easy to use button. And the level of heat is amazing. I never used above level two. Maintenance is easy. Wash it on gentle and then allow to air dry, and it is as good as new! I found this blanket so ideal that I purchased one for another person's recovery who was having surgery, which is why I get to write this review for a gift. :) This blanket is like receiving a warm hug.

This last purchase of the Berkshire heating throw is my our 4th in the past year. No, not because there's anything wrong but instead because I had to keep getting one for myself after my kids and dad took mine. We're in the PNW where it's cooler most of the year. Having the warm 4 levels of heat on our laps while reading or TV watching is simply luscious luxury...🤗ah a warm and fuzzy blanket. Even our guests who come to visit use it. Pros: 🔸The throw heats up quickly in about a minute if not less. 🔸The "fuzzy" side is soft and caressing while the other side is smooth and velvety. 🔸Comes in complimentary colors to one's color decor. 🔸Has a rather long cable for reaching outlets at a distance. 🔸Have had one at least more than one year still working fine. 🔸Folds into compact size for storage in a bin or basket. 🔸Can be used as a throw without heat and yet remains warm. 🔸The best part is that the "switch" is actually a button 🔘 you press to increase or shut off the heat. Further it lights up at the pressing of each level. 🔸 Another feature is that the button is built in into one corner of the throw rather than being part of the cord. Rather an ingenious design. How I clean it: no I don't wash it rather I spray both sides with Febrees and set in the dryer on low for about 20 minutes. I think if it got soiled I'd probably just wipe with a wet cloth. Cons: 🔸You may need to buy 2 if you have a family who will take yours. The first time I got this was through Costco online but it's nolonger available, this I am glad Amazon has it.

I live in the PNW and there is always a dampness and a chill in the air. I get so cold so easily that I basically live in my robe and slippers coupled with a ton of blankets. I wanted to try a heated blanket and this one is heavenly. It is so soft and the heating element is perfect. It has 4 different heating levels and I love that the button is up a the top of the blanket. a few years ago I bought a different brand of heated blanket and first off it didn't even get noticeably warm and second, the button to turn it on was on the cord which was always a pain to find. This blanket is so good I ended up buying 3. 1 for work, 1 for my hobby room, and one for my living room lol. Also, my sweet kitties love it and like to cuddle with me when it's on so that's a win

An absolutely beautiful throw! Very soft and appears to be very well-made. This is the second one I’ve had and I have to say that this one does not heat up as much as my first one. So even though there’s not quite as much warmth, I do not regret my purchase. I also love the one touch button!
