There are a lot of opinions on this, it's expensive, and heavy. It makes your iPad more like a laptop, which for some people is good and others are bad. I tried a Logitech keyboard case prior to this and I returned it because I didn't like the way it worked. So, here we are. Typical for Apple, it's well designed and feels solid. The hinge is excellent. The keys are similar to a laptop keyboard, just a little smaller. The trackpad works well and I find myself using it a lot. The functionality of this case is excellent. The sides are not covered, so there is a lack of protection if you care about that sort of thing, but I think this is not the right case if you do. I like the Magic Keyboard, I will use it heavily, and while I wish it cost less, I'm also willing to pay the price.

I wanted to make my iPad into a laptop... I probably should have just bought a laptop. But anyway, the keyboard case worked great. You, don't have to worry about charging it, the case provides a second port to charge through so you can still use your other port for a hub or whatever. The typing experience is similar to most recent MacBook keyboards, and once I got used to the shrunken size, it was fine.

This product is expensive to begin with but I certainly expected a new keyboard. I received a very used keyboard. I have written the seller but they have chose not to respond. The box showed up with the seal completely ripped off. There are scuffs on the outside of the case and a small scratch on the side of the track pad. I don’t have the luxury of waiting for a new one. At least it seems to work so far.

Hold down the command key for a moment and it tells you what the shortcut keys are. No gaps; displaying excellence in engineering. I bought the Asurion warranty because the "Geniuses" at the Apple Store were being pricks. Seriously. What happened to Apple's reputation for excellence in service? I think they're getting too big, the same thing as Microsoft did. They're not going away, but their reputation is being tarnished, the same as the Disney Parks' experience. Absolutely love the keyboard. It's amazing. But the human connection between product and service is no longer there. I plan on purchasing more products here on Amazon, where they still care about customer service. We have Echoes and Eeros all over the house. Connectivity is outstanding (I realize this is a review for the keyboard, so I'm stopping now). You'll never get a better price than here. Grab 'em while you can.

The keyboard is well made and sturdy. I just wish it had a secure place built in to hold the ipencil so you don’t loose it! For what the keyboard costs, I would think that would be reasonable feature. It is nice that you don’t have to have wires to hook it up to the iPad tho. And you don’t have to charge the keyboard because it works directly off of the iPad battery. The keyboard works immediately when you attach it to the keyboard. That is a great feature! Over all, I love it! No more one finger typing!
