I have a partial relationship with trench coats; where i do find them useful but tend to veer away from them. That was until recently, when i began incorporating unique colors along with thinner styles into my work based fashion ideas. Growing up, i had always associated trench coats with an elaborate affair that included all of these straps that made the thing seem uniform like. After becoming attached to a lighter blue coat i have been wearing since last fall, i wanted to try out a still lightweight, but possibly a bit more free flowing variation. This is where this Beotyshow brand coat coat came into my attention. I was thinking the material was a bit less floppy with the collar and surrounding neck region having a bit more structure. This coat arrived super folded up and when removing it from the bag, i i immediately became a bit concerned with the way the coat seemed like a sheet or something. After wearing it for a few minutes i was a disappointed to not see the character that is exhibited in the product page. I feel that picture is misleading in relation to the collar area, which sort of flops around rather than looking starched and with structure. The color is also of a faded way that is a bit too casual in that is seems like its not business casual but some kind of hippy casual. Overall this coat is a bit of a disappointment for my intention of being able to wear it in a work setting. I will still wear it and also update this review assuming i will find more of a use for it. I always approach reviews as an ongoing thig where i try to see positive things in items that may have initially not struck my interest. Hopefully this one will grow on me but as for now it seems comfortably in the three star range. I cant really recommend this because it does not look like the product page picture.

I've never really been sure what "slim fit" means when you're ordering an XL. Frankly it seems like an oxymoron to use XL and slim in the same phrase. So maybe it's normal that this coat feels tight across the shoulders and top of the arms, not leaving much room for moving the arms around. I find it a bit uncomfortable, and that's just wearing a lightweight long sleeve dress shirt underneath it. I'd say anything thicker than that, forget about it. And the khaki color is more yellow than I'd like. But it's wearable, and that's good because the style is cool. Desperately needs to be ironed or steam pressed or something because it's horribly wrinkled when shipped. Lots of fun things you can do with the buttons, lapels, and collar. If I was going to do it again, I'd probably order up a size and try the navy color instead.

The media could not be loaded. I gave this trenchcoat 3 stars (average). It looks really cool and seems to be fairly well constructed. My main concern is that it is so thin. It feels more like I am wearing a dress shirt in the shape of a trench coat. Absorbs water very easily so it isn't even water proof. If you purchase this trench coat you are buying it for its appearance, not functionality because it will not keep you very warm or dry.

This item was very disappointing. It looks really cheap. Very thin. Is way too big. Says XL is 50” chest. Fit like about a 54” chest. The whole jacket just looked horrible. I would not recommend

The trench fits well and cut nicely . It has a small lining and is a thin, breezy fabric . If you wore a heavy sweater or coat underneath it would work well because you won’t over heat . It would work in fall and spring because it so thin . I don’t think waterproof, they describe as windbreaker but I remember those used to be a simple rain coat . Past knee on a tall guy and sleeves are right spot at wrists. Has to be steamed before wear . Very happy Enjoy

Does trench coat is simply amazing. It fits perfectly. And is just the right length. Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and it's very lightweight. Lightweight but surprisingly warm for the material. The double-breasted four button closure simple to operate along with the tie around the waist belt keep you snug as a bug. Very well made.

Thoroughly impressed. It fits great, it's heavy zero but not too heavy, and the length is PERFECT, so I don't have to worry about it dragging the ground. It doesn't let ANY cold air in anywhere; not through the seams, not through the collar, not anywhere. It looks sharp! I got a lot of compliments from my coworkers.
