This is a great rug! It is very soft to the touch and feels great. The color is beautiful and matches well with the floor and the overall room. It has bumps at the bottom of the rug to prevent it from sliding, but it doesn’t hold very well but that isn’t a problem for me. It is fairly easy to clean and keep it clean. I underestimated the size of the rug and was hoping for a longer one, but that was on me. Just make sure to measure your space and order the correct size. My dog loves the new area rug! I have a full frame bed with an 18" height clearance so that my buddy has a private den. Now, with this rug, he is enjoying time surrounded by the new fluff! The 5x8 White Cream (not quite as bright as the White) was ordered to complement the space and enjoy the softness when getting in or out of bed plus giving him a fluffy pad of his own. It works beautifully! If desiring bouncier, I suggest doing a thin rubber padding underlayment. Because this size is partially under a bed and the exposed surrounding space is a little over two feet on three sides there is no slippage when walking on. Best feeling in bare feet! The rest of our home is floored with Persian area rugs over wood yet this room creates a space that is tons of fun for my little buddy and me! And a special perk is that it does not shed! I ordered the beige color. When the rug arrived, it was rolled up very tightly, but it quickly unrolled and flattened out surprisingly well within a short time frame. This rug is SOFT! Great for the price. Very soft. Very hard to keep clean. Things get stuck in the fibers and I have to use a lint roller or hand pick debris. I changed my initial review completely. In one week of use this rug looks very bad. It sheds. Fluff is flying everywhere. Dust gets trapped in its fluffy structure. Cheap synthetics- quality isn't there. Many reviewers said it’s soft. Yes it’s soft but quality is based on many other factors. Such as, overall look which had changed in few days, there is no volume, it’s thin. And it’s not safe for your health because while walking on it you are inhaling lint and it’s unending. The bad: it will trap dirt and debris that you bring in on your shoes like nothing you've ever seen. If you want to keep it close to clean, no outside shoes on it. Ever. Even then, expect every kitchen crumb to find a permanent home there, because your vacuum won't clean it. Washing won't remove debris. The thing is a magnet for bits. The good: But it IS pretty.
