I really like this pen. The ones that come with the kits are pretty useless and aggravating. This one has interchangeable heads and they all work very well. It's easy to hold and refill the adhesive which hold a long time. Very happy with this pen and would highly recommend it to others.

    • Plastic tips are imprecise

Although the metal tips (the single jewel tips) are just fine, I find the plastic multi-placers to be too imprecise. One was slightly misshaped. The others just weren't useful. I think perhaps because, being made of plastic, they need to be larger than the metal set I replaced them with. As a result, I could not place the rows where I wanted them. It may also be a factor that I am working with square drills. Maybe it would be more forgiving with round drills. But, in the end, I was disappointed. ... show more

I had asked a question of previous purchasers and received 2 totally different answers so I purchased it and I am glad I did. Some users state it is heavy, I had surgery on both hands last year and find that not to be the case. The tips are not sharp as stated in previous review and the square tip makes checkerboarding so much easier and then I just fill in the blanks.
