Really nice build considering the price. The rotating feature doesn’t fully secure in place so there’s a bit of squeaky when punching that can get annoying. Overall not a bad set up for space efficiency.

Very heavy and durable. The mount plate was far larger than I anticipated, but I worked with it anyway. The only downside would be putting it in the fixed position. It's a threaded bolt you put through the base and the arm to keep it in place. It does swivel side to side if needed, which I do. In order to be able to pull the bolt out to swivel it out of the way, you have to lift the bag every time to alleviate the weight. A cotter pin would be amazing. Probably more cost effective too. But definitely more convenient to be able to use it as designed ... show more

Needed to hang a heavy bag and wanted flexibility with the space, this did the trick still allowing space for the other garage junk. Cars, lawn mowers, stuff that is needed. Easy to install and position so it was out of the way to allow access for the stuff and still useable immediately! Love it.

The bag post is exceptional. I was uncertain if the bag was going to swing freely because I am used to hanging the bags from the ceiling but my dojo is small so I had to utilize the wall. It suits my space and it has been tested. The product is secure, sturdy and a great piece of equipment.

So I recently purchased this bag hanger because I wanted to take up less room in my garage gym. It seems to be made of excellent material and the welds look good. My primary concern is that the back plate is too small, and didn't have enough mounting holes. It says this thing can hold 800 lbs, but I have a 150lb bag on it and it definitely bends slightly. Because the plate is so small, it's tough to mount to a wall. Most people aren't going to have a 8x8 to mount it in to. SO, I had to get a 2x12 and mount THAT on the wall first, right into the studs. Then added another 2x12 piece on top of that, to give more substance for the lugs attaching the hanger to the wall to grab onto. So there's about as much support as I could provide given the dimensions of this hanger. When I strike the bag and it swings, I just fear one day it's going to pull right out of the wood, it's just a matter of time. I do have an uppercut "donut" that attaches to my heavy bag, which I can place on the floor to limit its swinging, and that seems to relieve a lot of the stress on the wall. I wish the backing plate was at least wide enough to go right into studs, but also longer, to provide more support when the bag starts swinging. Perhaps shorter, lighter bags aren't as much a problem, but be wary mounting a large, Thai bag. Plan ahead at how you can safely and securely mount it, knowing that the plate will be too narrow to drill into studs. ... show more

Can confirm that it will support a 200 lb. Hydro heavy bag on a stud wall, with a little homemade engineering. Multiple adjustments. Well made and well packaged. Would buy again…

Product says it holds up to 800lbs…I put a 180lb Rival bag on it and it bent like this in just a few months. Not a good product. Can’t seem to get a refund now either. Product information is not correct.
