I installed these brake pads on a Kia Soul. When I inspected them prior to install I did not notice, and manufacturing defects and they fit perfectly when installed. Having driven with them on for a few months now, I have noticed that they do their job well however they do seem slightly louder than other brakes I have used. Nonetheless, for the price point they work well and stop the car and are not terribly loud, its only at a very slow roll that you can truly hear any noise. ... show more

While there's likely not much difference in brake pads appearance wise performance is "the" most important quality for brake pads. That being said I've handled a lot of different brands of pads I was impressed based on appearances alone with these pads. Theyve only been on for a week and they e performed flawlessly without squeaks or noises associated with cheaper pads. 2012 jeep compass sport. Perfect fit. Silent braking. I tried the matching Rear pads but they were too tall and did not fit. Amazon said they would fit but they did not but these will at least fit the front. Obviously the fit is very important.

Bottom line first: these are great - huge improvement in wheel appearance (ie: vastly-reduced brake dust) with almost no obvious difference in braking ability (I'm just a regular driver who doesn't practice maximum acceleration/braking) The factory/dealer BMW brake pads may be incredibly soft and high-performing, but they produce absurd amounts of brake dust on my silver factory wheels. I don't need maximally-efficient brake pads - this car has very large rotors and giant pads compared to my other cars. The braking power of this car remains very strong with these Bendix pads. I got fed up with the dust and instantly dirty wheels immediately after constant hand-washing - these Bendix pads have done the trick. The installed perfectly and directly. Very little brake dust but same basic feel when braking - no change in driving habits whatsoever. It might take some hard stopping to really make a difference - I have full confidence in these and am delighted to lose the frustration about the perpetually-dirty look on my wheels. ... show more
