This is a great little saw, be aware that the small size prevents it from having much power. I use it for very small trim and fabrication jobs. I made some thin mild steel firearm magazine floor plate/retainers without a hitch using the carbide blades. The instructions stink; you will need to work out how to turn it on using your thinking cap. The operation of the safety switch is straight forward after you find it, but not explained clearly in the directions. If you are not adept using small power tools pass on this one. ... show more

The manual is incomplete. Nowhere you will find how to remove the blade. Luckily, I found a video on youtube that shows that you have to insert 2nd allen wrench in the bottom of the body to lock the shaft in order to loosen the blade. The saw works well cutting 2mm threaded rod. It could have earned 5 stars rating but I have to take 2 stars off due to poorly written manual. ... show more
