I am giving this product 5 stars! I ordered the Bed Topper for a DIY project to reupholster my sofa. On the day this product was delivered, I came home to a Houdini dog that somehow managed to escape his crate sometime in the 90 between my son leaving for work and the time I get home from work. Also greeting me as I walked through the door were 4 packages from Amazon that had been opened and everything shredded! These were all packages for my DIY sofa recovering project. Although I didn't get to use the product for purpose in which it was purchased, I am giving 5 stars to for the Bed Topper because the fur babies seemed to have enjoyed it very much during their time with it.

"Duro-Med Convoluted Bed Pad Hospital-Size Bed Pad, Blue, 33 Inch x 72 Inch..." I actually love the product but probably for a different reason then most. My current living enviroment was in close quarters with thin walls and people on alot of different sleep schedules. I was looking for a sound proofing for the walls in my room. After shopping other products which were expensive for what I needed compared to the coverage I needed, (not to mention I dont plan on taking back to the states) I stumbled on these 2 inch bed mats. I bought 3 for the coverage I needed (3rd of the price), shipped quick, arrived packaged well and compressed, 30 minutes later and a few thumb tacks was all i needed to soundproof my room. The blue was just an added bonus instead of the standard white/yellow usual color. I have sense ordered 2 more of the 3 inch which I actually plan to sleep on.

We had to employ the use of a rented hospital bed, replaced the twin mattress with another one in the house (because the rental mattress was AWFUL), and bought this eggcrate to help comfort and prevent bedsores. It saved the day for us. Before the eggcrate, the person couldn't get comfortable; after the eggcrate she was able to sleep finally. She said it was still not as comfortable as her own bed but made it tolerable - i.e. a bit more comfortable so she could adjust her weight and feel capable of non-painful sleep. This was one of the protocols we used to keep her skin from breaking down and it was very helpful. Just don't expect it to take a really terrible mattress and make it super comfortable because it was just one piece in our puzzle to figure out how to make the person be able to bear the pain she was in.

To be fair, I bought this knowing it was not going to be of great quality - I bought it to tri-fold and use in my dog’s bed (it’s basically a giant pillow case that you fill with your own pillows etc. way cheaper than other beds.) This function was great for me. Keeping the rating low to indicate the poor quality of the topper. But for those of you looking for a mattress topper, don’t waste your money. The size is way inconsistent - 4in. here, 1.5in. there. It is not supportive at all. Honestly the main reason I rated it so low is that I had previously purchased a much higher quality twin mattress topper for half the price on W*lmart website (that my dog tore up because I didn’t put it inside an actual pet bed cover.) It had very nice foam and had an actual memory foam-esque comfort level. Couldn’t find it anymore, so I bought this one. Way worse. Keep looking, unless your needs are very basic like mine!

This is the worst egg crate I have ever seen. As a 25+ year RN I know how supportive these should be. Even though I bought it to use as a replacement in a dog bed this foam mattress compressed like a pancake with my 35 lb grandson on it. Had to double it and interlock the bumps to get any sort of benefit from it for the dog bed. Would never buy for an actual person.

I ordered the 2" for a gun case and it needed to be 2". (I know that's a rough demand but...) I got it, unrolled it and let it relax for 4 days. It got no higher than 1-5/8". I know that doesn't sound like much but it's almost 25% short. I asked a question if it was the full 2" thick to the tip and they said yes. They must've purchased the 4" mat. I returned with no problem.

i bought this foam (2" thick model) for a time specific project. the seller lied. after 2 days allowed for expansion, the best i could get was 65% of that. ripoff. if i had more time i would have returned it.
