I like the quality of the hard wood block and the anvil. One problem I had was the face on my workbench is about 6 inches so the vise clamp did not open up wide enough to attach. I cut a small wood block, rounded the corners, and attached it to the front of my bench and that easily solved the problem. a bit disappointed in the wood. I did attach to several different tables and it worked well with a variety of thickness for the table. The anvil part was nice and smooth. When I first opened it up, there was a protective clear wrap over the anvil and some oil on it, but removed that and it works great. ... show more

Haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet but it seems pretty sturdy and claps well. As it stands though I would buy this again. Will update if anything changes.

    • Unit was nice enough b it disappointed in the giant wiggly crack in the pin itself.
Seems solid enough but this cracked pin isn’t going to last, it’s already splitting in half before any use

This product was described correctly in the description, I just happen to misjudge the dimensions. It's narrower than I would like, but again, exactly as described. Study well made anvil and the bench pin is hard wood, which is excellent.
