I like the quality of the hard wood block and the anvil. One problem I had was the face on my workbench is about 6 inches so the vise clamp did not open up wide enough to attach. I cut a small wood block, rounded the corners, and attached it to the front of my bench and that easily solved the problem. If I need a second one for my other work space I will get another like this. ... show more

a bit disappointed in the wood. I did attach to several different tables and it worked well with a variety of thickness for the table. The anvil part was nice and smooth. When I first opened it up, there was a protective clear wrap over the anvil and some oil on it, but removed that and it works great. ... show more

    • Wouldn't buy if I'd seen it at the store.
The metal edge of the one I received where it connects to the wooden bench pin are chewed up, not straight like the one pictured. Clearly, some of it was left in the mold as most of one corner is missing. Dissappointed.
