I actually really love the toilet seat itself - but I am leaving a review to possibly save someone an installation headache. I have both a Steris and a Glacier Bay toilet and the provided wing nuts were too big to surpass the bowl on both of them. I had to dig up a jagged old saw from the basement to cut off the wings in order to secure this seat. The process itself was super simple. But if you have a big toilet bowl & don’t have a saw then you’ll probably be returning! Again, the seat itself is very aesthetic, especially compared to the plastic ones that they replaced, and the installation process on its own was super simple. Hope that’s helpful! ... show more

So glad I bought this! At first, I was reluctant to get a new toilet seat. Unless I got a plastic one, I figured a new one would just stain or paint would come off like it did on our old one. Needed a new toilet seat with cover for our Toto oblong shaped toilet. Old seat had the slow close technology but started squeezing over time as it closed. Bought this and liked the price and it fit! Only complaint is on our part since we are used to the old slow close, did not now how hard we were absently shutting the seat and boy did it slam! Added Scotch SP950-NA Bumpers and Door Stops, 1/2" clear Round, two to the bottom of the seat and one on top of the tank, where the lid would sit when open. Now all is well. This was the second seat I ordered because the first was the elongated. Reorderer the round. No instructions were included so my husband decided to wing it. After a long time of frustration and a bloody finger he gave up and decided it didn't fit right. But we watched another video saying all toilet seats in the US are two sizes, and then found where I ordered the seat, and there is a video. I had a problem with my other cheap plastic seat where when I installed my bidet it wouldn’t sit properly but this quality one is bidet compatible, as long as it’s a thin one that sits between the top of the toilet and the seat!

Great quality but I bought wrong size. Thought toilet seats were standard. This is a 16.5 and needed 18.5. the problem is could not exchange. Bought in March 2023 and just went to install in May and seat was off by 2 inches.

It’s a really nice toilet seat, but there were no instructions on how to remove the screw covers so you can install it. I did figure it out but deducted a star for no instructions.
