This belt is made with excellent craftmanship. The nylon material is sturdy. I purchased the black/gray belt. The buckle is fairly heavy, but well built. The mechanism of locking the belt in place is super simple. Since the purchase, I've worn the belt multiple times and it works well.

I've been told that the nylon belts are a nice replacement to the similar cotton versions because they don't wear as much. I haven't used it long enough to test that out, but so far this belt is very well made, and I like that it is easily reversible. The "buckle" grips the belt well so there is no unintentional loosening. My only complaint so far is that the belt is very stiff in the width, so when I sit down in a chair or seat with a back to it, the belt doesn't conform to my back. It tends to either want to bow the back of my pants out a bit or presses uncomfortably into my lower back. As a result, I've had to remove it when driving. I organize and lead a large social bicycle club with over 1550 members. I drive a Jeep Renegade 4X4 with a rear compartment area filled with survival gear. I am used to physically and mentally stressful conditions. All of that being said this BELTROAD Nylon Ratchet Tactical Belt for Men is all about the pampering and the luxury. I got mine in army green and all things considered I am very impressed. It definitely is reminiscent of the real army belts issued way back when I was in the service. This belt has a very nice looking quality and feel to it and I love that it's also dark gray, and black with just a flip of the buckle. The material feels extremely durable, and it was actually quite easy to put on and take off.

The only negative comment I have about this belt is that I wished it latched a little more securely. Otherwise, it's a great fitting and versatile belt. The materials feel really sturdy and I don't expect it will break. It's so much more adjustable than a traditional belt with holes.

The belt is nice, with very tightly woven nylon. There is plenty belt with the length ordered. The ratcheting buckle takes a little getting used-to, but it looks great and certainly doesn't allow for any slippage. The first time or two it is worn, it may take a little effort to operate the ratchet, but in the end, the engineering is sound and the belt looks good. This is a nice belt, it is practical, great-looking and I guess you could call it a casual dress-up belt. Since the belt is ribbed full length, it is easy to size because the ribs are what keep it latched. It comes with a nice-looking buckle which would be suitable for almost any occasion, when you put the belt on you simply slide it through the buckle until you reach the desired fit, the ribs will keep it latched, to unlatch simply flip the lever on the bottom of the belt buckle. The belt looks like it will be incredibly tough, which is good since I have a slip-on key ring, I must wear every day, and there are a lot of keys on. So far, the belt has shown no wear, or marks where I clip the key ring on. The belt is sturdy enough to keep it from sagging and the positive locking mechanism in the buckle keeps it firmly in place when you wear it. The belt itself is incredibly easy to size, the design of the buckle allows you to simply unlatch the buckle to take it off the belt, cut it to size, and singe the end so there will not be any fraying, then simply slip it back on the buckle.
