Ok - I'll start this review by saying that I never write reviews, but as this product didn't have any reviews and this is my third turntable purchase in 3 weeks, I thought I owe it to anyone who is flipping between different options to give you my opinion on this one. I'm not an audiophile but I wanted something that sounded really good and also looked low profile and chic. My first purchase was the Fluance RT85. I read a review from someone saying it was the best option in the lower price category. I paid over $500 for this and returned it the next day. First up, it was super complicated to put together. Second, mine had a fault which meant the head would not sit on the record. It also needs an amplifier and I don't think it had bluetooth. Also the black rubber feet made huge marks on my white bookshelf. For a fanatic it may be fab but for me it was way too complex and finicky. Second purchase was the Project BI T2. This one looked awesome, but I couldn't get the bluetooth to work and when I used the cables with my speaker the sound was really quiet, even at top volume. Now to this little beauty. Plug and play right out of the box. Bluetooth connected in seconds (make sure you don't have another device paired with the speaker at the same time). Sound crystal clear and loud. Very happy. The color of the item is a beautiful cream color. They say piano white and it's gorgeous. Reminiscent of a gorgeous grand piano. Item is larger in depth than the other turntables I bought and it is slightly too big for my book case, but it only overhangs slightly and is so gorgeous, I'm keeping it. Also, this may sound like a small point, but for me it's a big one - the power cable is low profile and white. I bought this item to sit on a white shelf and be low profile so I'm grateful that you can't see the cord. The other 2 turntables had black cables. I think this is made in China and instructions have spelling mistakes - but the quality of the machine is really great and it looks very expensive and you really don't need the instructions. It's so easy to set up! Hope this helps someone else who may be scrolling and scrolling and scrolling! I nearly didn't buy as there was no reviews. If you are hesitating give it a spin! ... show more

Great unit! Pretty looking, solid, has a great weight to it and a nice iron platter with good weight too. Metal and rubber bummer on bottom for protection and stability. Auto off when tone arm in rest or at end of record. (No auto return) Bluetooth out (meaning speakers or headphone) not IN meaning phone. Pairs super easy, have had no issues. Sound quality on the speakers I've paired to have been great. Nice dust cover, I use my own slipmat (vs the provided one) I also love the dust cover can shut fully while playing record. Simple functions, no pitch control. After searching and trying the Price to quality is there for me on this one! ... show more

    • DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I decided to upgrade my record player from a suitcase player to this, and it was a BIG mistake. The record player played fine the first time I got it. After the first day every single record skips. I have adjusted the counterweight, finally got it to sound okay, just for it to do the same thing the next day. I requested a replacement because I feel like there shouldn’t be this much effort placed in a BRAND NEW product. The second player was worse. I hooked the original player up and again tried to adjust the counterweight. It worked okay so I decided I would just send the replacement back. Today I attempted to listen to records and again, skipping constantly. It sounds terrible. I should have known better. ... show more

This turntable functions very well mechanically and sound quality good, however, I found that the sound from the built-in pre-amp could be improved by selecting the option to use an external pre-amp of higher quality. Using this choice requires care, however, because the acoustic signal prior to the pre-amp stage is only about 0.005 volts and is therefore vulnerable to ground loop and other electromagnetic noises. The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing record player for the price! The white is so aesthetically pleasing for my space. It does have a glittery shine that I did not expect, but I don't mind it at all. It works effortlessly with my Marshall speaker that I connected with the audio cables that the turntable came with. I've had more expensive record players in the past and this one works just as well. I didn't want to spend a ton, and this is a great bang for the buck! The design is sleek. It connects easily to my bluetooth speaker. The sound is great. I'm not an audiophile so I don't know if someone more attuned would hear something I am not. But for a regular person who just loves music, the sound is excellent. Would definitely recommend! ... show more
