It’s very good quality for the price! It was easy to assemble, comes with a little storage bag, and is made of a durable canvas material. My only concern is some areas of the tassles seem a little thin, so I may go in with some more black rope to fill it in more and secure the tassles a bit better, but I’m sure it will be fine for light use ... show more

They offer two ways to hang the hammock and I have been considering looking into how I could hang it in my home. Regardless, the hardware is there to hang it outside around a couple trees. I didn't expect to like this hammock. I didn't expect anyone in my family to like it. Canvas didn't seem like the most comfortable material. The width wasn't really what we'd expect of a double hammock. Frankly, I ordered it because I wanted an extra hammock for emergencies and it was available. We suffer from tactile defensiveness and really thought that we would all feel it and decide to cover it with a sheet or blanket. That isn't the case, though. Two years ago we replaced our traditional mattresses with hammocks. We added hammock chairs to replace our too-tall furniture and we haven't gone back. Since then, we've tested out several hammocks. Most of them are stiff, barely sagging when you sit in them. You can eyeball where to set them up because you know they won't sink much. These, however, you need to put the hammock up higher than you think and maybe even more so. I put this where I normally put my hammocks and proceeded to sit right down on the floor. LOL. It stretched, so I felt safe the whole way down, but it was a bit of a ride. I put it up three feet higher and it looked like there was no way I was going to be able to get in it. But, I had no issue doing so. It does give and allow you to sink comfortably. The stitching on the side is sturdy. Since I was thinking about removing it, I did test it by putting my weight on the netting and it didn't budge. I think, if you're looking for a good hammock, but don't like the fringe, you can remove it with some time and patience. We ordered the black because it's really close to Halloween and this hammock fits our aesthetics. If we weren't able to stand using it for a hammock, we were going to use it for decorations. That isn't necessary, though. We tried the hammock out and it didn't assault our senses. I am 5'2" and could stretch out enough to sleep sideways (the recommended sleeping position). As I mentioned earlier, this is smaller than other double hammocks. You might not be able to fit two people comfortably side by side lengthwise. Try a 76 or 78" wide if you need to do so. On the other hand, it does stretch a bit, perhaps it would. Sorry I can't test that for you. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort level of this hammock. Bottom line: Would I order this again? Maybe. I do admit I like my parachute (rip stop nylon) hammocks. But, this is comforting in a different way. It's also warmer. It may be a good winter hammock. We'll see. If anything out of the ordinary occurs to impact my review, I'll come back and edit it. ... show more
