This coat is much nicer than it looks in the picture. The faux fur removable trim is plush, thick and fluffy. It attaches with small buttons that you can’t see unless you look for them. The coat has a double zipper, which is nice, if you want to have it unzipped on top and bottom and zipped closed at the waist. It’s insulated with a thin layer of stuffing/batting, which is VERY warm, and doesn’t make me look like a round marshmallow, as most other puffy coats or jackets would (which is why I’ve never bought one, except for this one). It fits well, it’s flattering, and it’s a nice length. The bottom hem comes down to mid-calf on me, and I am 5’4”, for reference. If you are taller, it will hit closer to the knee. I’m quite pleased with this coat (it even came in its own zip bag). It looks and feels much more expensive than it is, and it’s so warm that I’m sure that if I wanted to, I could wear it in snow and be fine. Thankfully, however, in Southern California, I don’t have to deal with snow. In fact, so far this winter, it has rarely been cold enough to wear this coat. The only thing is, that it is a bit heavy and bulky to carry around if the weather warms up enough for me to take it off when I’m out in public. But overall, I think this coat was a great buy, especially for the price. It may even be warmer than my wool coat that cost nearly 3 times as much, and it’s quite nice looking. I am 6' tall, 210 lbs. I loved this coat. It was flattering, warm, and the faux fur lining was so soft. I had to return it for two reasons: 1) No Interior pocket - however, the two outer pockets were very deep and had a snap closure 2) Sleeves were a 1/2 inch too short.     • BUYER BEWARE - XXL EXTREMELY SMALL & QUALITY ISSUES
Size: XX-Large Color: Black With Belt
When opening the bag, this is a shiny black, lightweight, and nicely styled coat BUT, this XXL collar label looks like a SIZE L when I took it out of the bag. I thought maybe this coat looks small because the belt is pulled tight and tied in the back. However, further investigation by trying on the coat confirmed for me it's long enough but, most certainly not a size XXL. It's entirely too small. I ordered this cute, long puffer coat in XXL based on the Size Chart, the recommended size for me, reviewing comments, and my measurements but, the coat is too small for this 5'5" woman who adds 2" to 4" boots to my coats. This coat is extremely small all over and too tight. The coat wasn't wide enough so the two sides could meet to zipper closed. (Sharing just for fit information) I am a toned curvy girl. I look several sizes smaller than my weight. I always win the weight-guessing prizes at amusement parks by big double-digit numbers. I have a smaller upper body compared to my curvy hips and beautifully, round-toned bum. My arms, shoulders, back, and waist are small but, when trying to wrap the coat around me to snap closed only the top 3 snaps closed. Two of those top closed snaps were for the hood and neck and the 3rd was for the chest snap and it was snug. I could not freely move my arms or fully extend them. BUYER BEWARE If you have big arms, flapping underarm things, a large wrist, a larger chest than my C-Cup, or a wide back this XXL coat may not fit. The lower sections on me looked like a spreading triangle downwards or wide-spread bat wings where the east and west will never meet together in the center to snap or zip. I laughed at myself in this coat-this blackmail, Saturday Night Live kind of picture is too embarrassing to share. After trying on this coat, I decided to compare it to my long 1X Calvin Klein puffer coat that has a similar cut/style minus the belt and fur hood for comparison size fitting or other similar Bellivera coat new orders. My older coat is about 8 years old but, when placed next to and placed on top of each other this new Bellivera XXL coat is significantly and noticeably not as wide and much smaller. This coat looks 2-sizes smaller than my similar style 1X Calvin Klein puffer coat purchased in the USA. I've seen some very pretty and stylish Bellivera puffer coats on Amazon but, BUYER BEWARE I see that I cannot order this extremely small cut brand which does fit does not match Bellivera's Size Chart measurements in correspondence to my measurements, recommended size, and when compared to my other similar 1X coat that I layer with a thermal top, additional sweater and lined blazer with extra pants, tights, thermal pants and leggings during Chicago Vortex extreme winter weather weeks. I tried this coat on with only my freshly washed pajamas, bra, and panties. This is really sad to me - BUYER BEWARE especially if you are a fit, curvy girl. This coat will be another let-down of wasted time and a return. At closer inspection, BUYER BEWARE the coat has some quality issues. The snaps were difficult to snap when I was re-packing the coat the snaps don't fit well and will rip and tear from the fabric possibly after a few wears. Several strings were hanging from the bottom of the coat if pulled will tear the coat seams and the coat lining could easily tear and become holes. The fur-lined hood had matted areas in the middle and left side that closely circles your face, and there were other combination fur areas where the fur looked new, matted, and would not lie flat. ... show more

I thought this coat was beautiful. The only thing is that the surface layer of fabric is like those thin plastic grocery bags. I like how the coat looks on me, but it just seems way too likely to tear with me walking around in it. I went ham and splurged on a bunch of coats online since I was having a hard time finding one that fit me comfortably in the stores. When I got this one I was surprised at how much I liked it. But eventually I got realistic about it, especially after seeing it up against the other coats I purchased (one of the best coats in the bunch is also from Bellivera and has wonderful fabric). This coat’s material is just too fragile. I even thought I might give it away, but it just seems like I’d be giving it away for it to rip on someone else.
