I was really really hesitant about buying a leather like jacket online. Sometimes they have that weird smell & are cut to fit toddlers. This coat exceeded my expectations. It came wrapped nicely with all the hardware covered to prevent scratches. It didn't smell weird. It fits true to size. I'm 5'7" & 140 with my winter layer of weight on. I ordered a small and the fit is spectacular. That said, I wear lightweight turtlenecks & long sleeve tees, leggings and jeans with it. You do not need anything thick under this jacket because it's plenty warm. It's fully lined on the inside, so it was warm enough for my needs. I've worn it in temps 35°F & up without feeling cold. I've worn it walking in light rain without an umbrella and heavy rain with an umbrella. The jacket is fine & without any issues. That's the extent of my cold weather, so I have no idea how it does for snow or below freezing temps. Indoors, I generally have to take it off because it gets toasty! The best thing about the jacket besides its utility, is that it really packs a lot of fashion bang for the buck! It looks striking on. I don't have to do much else so far as my outfit goes, because this coat is such a statement piece! I threw it on over black leggings and boots to make a return. Just bumming- And I received so many compliments! I practically had on pajamas and still looked pulled together! I think it's the fur collar that elevates this piece. The collar is fully removable with buttons and elastic loops. I can't see why anyone would remove it for wearing. My tween was in my closet and took the collar off. I'm like WHY? It's a little difficult & time consuming to get the collar back on. That's actually a good thing, because it fastens very securely. My one critique is that the belt, which I love wearing- is very lightweight. It ties nicely and lays flat, but you just have to be careful with it when you wear the jacket open or untie it. The substantial buckle causes the belt to fall out of the loops. So you could easily loose the belt if you don't notice it fall, or scratch up the buckle. To fix this, when I'm wearing the jacket open, I tie the belt with the buckle towards the back of the jacket to prevent loosing it. When I forget to do so, the belt does fall out of the loops. The belt can be buckled. It has silver grommets for fastening it. I've never worn it that way. That is in no way a deal breaker. I just wanted to give a balanced review.     • Bought in 5X and 6X, both fit size 20 depending on if you want form-fitting or looser fit!
Size: 6X-Large Color: Brown
Sizing - I am a size 18 top/20 bottom (2X normally) and after reading many reviews decided to go up to the largest size available at a 6X for my first coat and try a 5X in another color for the second. I had to go up 3-4 sizes from normal, so it definitely runs very small - at least in the plus sizes. The 6X in brown/tan is a slightly looser fit for me, with enough room for layers underneath including sweaters. I would recommend sizes 20-22 for the 6X. I wouldn't recommend purchasing if you wear more than size 22. The second coat I got in 5X in black. This one is form fitting, but still zips up easily and isn't too snug. I can still fit thin layers under the 5X but probably nothing bulky, although the faux leather is somewhat stretchy too. I would recommend a size 18-20 for 5X but no higher, and if you're large-chested you might want to go with the 6X. Overall - I am really happy with both coats. The faux leather looks real, the fur collar doesn't look cheap and is very full, and the stitching is perfect with no loose threads anywhere on either coat. The zippers seem sturdy and the pockets have perfect placement. This coat is very stylish, well made, and has some weight to it. It's also figure flattering. I have gotten lots of compliments and gave out the link to the listing to people who asked where I got it. The inner faux fur lining at the core makes this a perfect winter coat. I'll wear it without the fur collar mostly, and attach it only on REALLY cold days - otherwise it would be too heavy for the southern winters where I live. Issues - The only slight issues for me are the belt and the sleeve length - as others have said, the belt is very long and the tightest notch is still too loose for me, so I'll be tying it rather than buckling it. It is thin with lighter weight hardware that doesn't really match the quality of the rest of the coat. The sleeves on both the 5X and 6X are a couple of inches too long for my taste, but at least they aren't tight. I may take them to a tailor to have the sleeves and belts shortened. Rating - they still get a 5 star rating because of the overall high quality and style of the coats for the low price I paid (got them during flash sales) - but even at full price I feel these coats are a good deal and you would pay a lot more for similar at a department store. ... show more

The jacket was nice . I brought it for my stepmom as a Christmas present and she wore it once, a month later and it starting chaffing and tearing up. Idk if it’s the fabric but a 90 dollar coat shouldn’t have ripped that easily that quick while only being worn for a certain amount of time . It definitely fits nice ,. If you have a bigger bust area( like she does ) that part won’t zip over the girls but it’s a nice fit and looks great with any outfit . ... show more

    • Grateful right before winter hit
I was terrified this was going to be a mistake purchase but when I got it, It was lovely. The fur was soft and the buttons make it easy to take off if I dont want the fur. I love the wrap around belt and loops to help me look like I actually have a shape under a coat. The inside was lined with black faux fur so I've been warm. I have a booty so this coat going past the butt line makes walking in the cold bearable. I've been getting compliments on it, the leather is nice and I feel feminine in it. measurements before ordering. I measured from top of my shoulders down the sleeve and around the waist I usually wear 3x, I measured myself and ordered a 4x and it fits me perfectly. I love this coat. It is a warm and beautiful coat. I love the furry collar, it's big and fluffy.
