I needed a rug in our foyer that was washable, and it is advertised as washable. I haven't washed it yet, but am saving the label with the washing instructions so that I don't wreck it when I do. I also have not tried vacuuming. I use a robot vacuum, and hope it will not tangle up and will be able to go over it. It is lightweight and could easily be taken outside to shake if the vacuum can't handle it. I ordered the 3x5 size. The main thing that was disappointing was the colors. I ordered blue and brown. It is much more blue than the picture indicated.

Easy to wash outdoors with hose and a brush, dry over some chairs in a sunny place. Nice on your feet. A pad underneath makes it more comfy but not essential.

I called the company and the gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful and offered to send me a non-slip backing for this particular rug. I like the color it is pretty much exactly what the picture showed. Although at the time it was offered as a high pile, and it is actually a Low pile carpet. I will keep it.

I bought the runner and 3'×5' for my kitchen, which just got a new vinyl tile floor I want to protect. So pretty, match the floor well, and are low pile, vac easily, and don't catch on the dog's claws. I haven't needed to wash them yet, so here's hoping...
