This chair is as described except the color has brown floral rather than red. The instructions were easy to follow and there was a little bit of difficulty with the back screw lining up. Other than that I find it to be very comfortable for me and the color being brown actually goes along with the rest of the room better than a red floral would have. I absolutely LOVE this chair!! It's much bigger than I thought it would be for the price! It's not uncomfortable at all, It's big enough to cross my legs In and sink back but it is firm. Not a super plush chair but it's great as an accent chair. I purchased it as an occasional chair not a chair that gets used all the time. I would be concerned about the legs if I were using it alot or sliding it around but it is perfect for what I wanted.. it is beautiful! The fabric is very nice the design is even more lovely in person. I love it so much I bought another one in beige for my bedroom.. again to use more as an occasional chair but for the price and the beauty you really can't beat it. Looks much more expensive than it is. People comment on it all the time it is like a piece of art!! ... show more

UPDATE: After 5 months, the chair is definitely softer to sit on (and the arm that my cat constantly lounges on is a bit softer, too!) However, I'm the sort of insane housekeeper who regularly moves furniture to vacuum. After a few months of this, the chair back began to wobble and slide out of the guides when I grabbed it to move the chair (which, by the way, isn't heavy to move). So I removed and reinstalled the back, using a very high-quality glue on the guides to ensure that the back remained in place. I also reinstalled the bolt that holds the back secure using the same high-quality glue, because I noticed it was loosening. So my actual review statements haven't changed: Perhaps more like 3 & 3/4 stars. Positives: The chair is very attractive and roomy, and that dipped back design makes it nice to rest one's head when sprawling. The fabric is closely-woven and appears sturdy. The "brick" color is lovely--a sort of deep rose-coral. Negatives: Working alone, I found it very difficult to assemble the back onto the chair. It did not easily slide fully down into the metal guides; it took a lot of pounding! I would recommend two people when assembling it. There is a bolt which one screws into the center, and it didn't seem to fully engage. I may replace it with a bolt of the same width but a slightly longer length. Both Positive and Negative: At least at first, the chair was VERY hard. Now, about three weeks later, the seat has softened up--still not soft, but definitely more comfortable. I suppose this could be a positive because the arms and seat, being so hard, will retain their shape better. But it's not precisely a comfy armchair--not yet, anyway. ... show more

The style of the chair and fabric design are exactly as shown. It is a perfect accent piece. However, there are two detractors. First, the seat part is narrower inside the arms of the chair than one would expect. Also, I had an awful time trying to bolt the back of the chair to the bottom. The wood seemed to be stripped and the bolt wouldnt hold. However, a guy neighbor was able to finally get the bolt to grab the wood. After that, it was very sturdy. ... show more
