Nice and sturdy bed frame. I picked this one in particular because I liked the stairs as opposed to a ladder. Looking at the photos I was curious as to how the wood steps were supported. I can say though, that they are well supported with metal crossbars underneath and was able to support my full body weight no problem without impacting the integrity of the wood. I was able to assemble by myself which took a good 4-5 hours spread over two days, just don't move anytime soon! Parts are well labeled and organized. There are two sets of instructions, one for the left setup and one for the right setup, make sure you decide which way you want it before you start. Only small gripes would be some of the small vertical, non-structural bars were not welded in place so they rattle loudly when the bed is jostled. I was able to remedy by putting a tiny piece of black electrical tape on those joints to stop the rattling. Worth the money considering shipping is probably a third of the cost which is included. It came in two boxes, weighing 150lbs total, on two separate days so be patient if it doesn't all arrive at once. ... show more

Bed is great. I have three daughters from 10 to 14 and they love it. The only thing is if you buy this then buy locktite for the screws to the ladders because of the constant climbing they come loose.

The bed is very good and provides plenty of space for my boys to share one room, which makes room management much easier. However, the installation process was extremely difficult. The instructions were unclear and poorly written. With over 600 pieces, the assembly was very complicated. It took me about three days to finish due to my busy schedule, and I had to redo the assembly three times because one piece was reversed in the wrong position—forcing me to start over. ... show more

The bed itself is exactly as I expected. While the instructions were okay, labeling pieces to make the directions more clear would make this so much better. There are just a few pieces that had to be adjusted and redone bc while it looked correct, it wasn't. All in all if they labeled the pieces just a little more detailed it would be a 5*. ... show more

    • Great for small rooms
This was a great idea for saving space and making it functional for small spaces. It just wasn't right for my kids size so I had to sell it and order different bed frames. It looked great although it was a bit of a pain putting it together.
