That review has been moved to the right item, but wait! We have this bed, too, so here's the story on it... This was the 3rd of 3 beds that we got for our kids. The oldest (girl) got a canopy bed, the middle kiddo (girl) got a high loft bed, and our youngest (boy) got this low loft one. All 3 beds (from 2 different sellers) were very similar in construction and made for another fun afternoon, this time with my son. Very heavy and lots of parts. A great lesson for each kid as we took our time and checked off all the parts on the list before starting assembly to avoid unpleasant surprises. Everything was there and it was easy to assemble in an afternoon. The wordless instructions (all pictures) are relatively easy to use, though one needs to be VERY careful to note the position of all holes in the parts to ensure you have (a) the right part and (b) that it's oriented properly. Some of the pictures are quite small and it's easy to miss the tiny holes indicated. My son loves it, especially since it has a little "boy cave" underneath that he can crawl into to play or read or just hang out. As with all beds like this, once assembled it's pretty much staying put in that room! It could be moved from one side of the room to another, but it would take a little thought to disassemble it just enough to move it to a new room or new home. Very satisfied with this bed.

Update: DO NOT PURCHASE! This bed is extremely unsafe. My son had for less than a year and the guard rail broke off. Not only is there now no guard rail but there is also sharp metal pieces sticking out right next to the ladder. I have contacted the company 3 times and they just keep asking for my order number but no one ever offers any solutions. A bed guard rail should not break after less than a year. Now we are out 350 dollars and my son doesn’t have a safe bed. In general this bed is super amazing. It was pretty easy to build. Took me and my husband about an hour. Instructions were easy to follow and the packaging and labeling was good. It is very stable and has lots of support for the mattress. The reason it lost some stars are because first the ladder hole was bent and was unable to connect. We tried to bend it back so it would lay flat but it was too curved that no matter how we tried we couldn’t get it perfect to match so the ladder is always loose . The second is that the lights around the desk keep falling off. We keep reapplying but the next day they are off again. This isn’t a huge deal but still stinks since it was an exciting part of the bed. Overall good purchase. My son loves it.

Overall the bed is good, sturdy and fits great in my son’s room. I just wish the light strips that come with these beds were a little better in quality. Definitely need 2 people to put it together easily but if your stubborn like me you can get it done by yourself with some effort lol

I debated the number of stars to give. I wanted to give less but my daughter really likes the bed, so I have an extra star for that alone. The bed was easy enough to build. The instructions were (mostly) clear, only a few hiccups. I built it solo so it took me several hours, but with a partner it would significantly reduce that time. I love how the slats for the bed work, seems more secure that our Kura bed from IKEA. The metal and desk portion are beautiful and nearly flawless. The problem comes with the panels that form the 2 longer side rails of the bed. The wicker decoration that my daughter absolutely love fell off immediately upon opening the box. I hadn’t even touched it yet! Then the tiny black screws meant to secure them to the frame of the bed fell out and despite putting them back in, they would not stay. My daughter is 12 so not having those panels is fine as she can’t fit through the opening but the bars keep her from falling out. However for a younger child, like my 8yr old, they can easily roll right through the opening and fall off the bed. I tried contacting the company’s support team THREE times. The first time, no one responded, the 2nd I got as far as them asking what my problem was but once I responded, they never got back (I could only contact someone via an Amazon chat window) to me. On my third attempt, I told them my problem but they asked for a number that I wasn’t given and had no access to and was abandoned after telling them and asking if there was another way they might be able to get me the help I needed. Thankfully this bed works for us so I don’t need a replacement, but I wanted others to know what they might expect if they needed customer service after ordering. Space saving: My daughter’s room is very small so having a seat attached to her bed means 1 less piece of furniture she needs in her room. Color: My daughter loves the black metal and dark wood look. Value for money: Same bed and brand and less expensive.

Bought this for my son. I love the fact that it has a desk attached. It did take some time to build, but it was worth it. Very sturdy. My son loves this bed. The only down side is the lights stopped working after one day.
