When I ordered this, there were no thorough reviews with photos, so hopefully I can help someone out. I got the queen size loft bed with stairs and this is a really cool bed. I bought this to maximize useable square footage in my small city apartment. I use the space underneath for my work-from-home setup and for playing computer games. I am a pretty small adult and still nimble, so I don’t mind climbing in and out of the bed and ducking under the loft. Packaging: It came in 2 long and heavy boxes. Thankfully, my apartment complex wheeled them inside for me before I even moved in, so I didn’t have to haul them up. It would be a pain to get them up any stairs, you’d need a second person for sure. Assembly: It took about 6.5-7 hours to build. It has you build the staircase first, which one person can mostly do by themselves. Once the stairs are done, you can’t do it without a second person. The directions were pretty easy to follow, we only made a couple minor mistakes that we caught early, so just go slow and read thoroughly before you work on each step! The parts are all labeled with stickers so it was easy. Stability and Size: First, it seems pretty stable when you’re up in the bed. It only really moves with side-to-side motion rather than back and forth motion (anchoring to the wall would help but I didn’t because I rent). I do wish it had another long head-to-foot support bar or two holding up the mattress for peace of mind, but it does seem to do the job. When a person lays on the bed, you do see some flex in the bars from underneath, but it’s not alarming. The weight limit is 350lb, but when we built it we tested about 390lb on it (combined weight of the heavy mattress, me, and my brother) and it held up. I chose to put a 12” thick queen mattress in it instead of the recommended 6”, and it still fits. But it goes all the way up to the top of the guard rails, so if you/your child needs the fall protection, use a shorter mattress. The stairs are only a little wider than my body is, so it can be a little tight if you are larger (I am 5’3” 125lb so not an issue). Upon walking down the stairs, I do notice some noise on the bottom 3 steps, but I believe this is due to the fact that we forgot to put on the adhesive strips underneath the wood panels, so I’m hearing the sound of wood rubbing on the metal support bars. But they are bolted and screwed on strong, so I’m not worried about it. Headspace Underneath: The under-bed space is 50” tall, so I have to duck to get under. Once I’m sitting at my desk, it’s totally fine and my head doesn’t hit the bed. Taller people would not have such a good time though. Bedside Rack: This part is awesome, it’s the full length of the bed so you can put a lot in there. It has a built in outlet station so you can charge your phone and other devices, essentially acting as a nightstand while you’re up there. Conclusion: Overall a good loft bed and I recommend it to both young adults and kids! I find it worth the price (I paid $379) and it gives me a lot more space in my small apartment.

I only put 4 stars because the absolute hassle and time it took to get this mother trucker together. It took my mom and I more than 6 hours. The instructions absolutely suck. No words, just pictures. I think it took so long because parts fit within other parts but because the screws were already tightened, we had to go back and loosen them to get the next piece to slide in and fit. I also didn’t see in the instructions where you decided which side to put the stairs on. Mine seemed to be mandating the right side (which is fine because that’s what I wanted), but still. I absolutely will pay whoever however much next time to do this so I don’t have to. It’s metal so seems extremely sturdy. The stairs aren’t extremely wide, but that’s fine since it’s for my kid. It definitely gives her her entire room back so she’s ecstatic about that. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and even more happy that it’s put together and I don’t have to touch it ever again LOL

This is good quality and I am satisfied with my purchase. However, the instructions are not the best to assemble. No words, just pictures, and a TON of parts and pieces. Also, there's several pieces where there is a connector hole or similar, to where the piece has to be positioned in the correct direction otherwise you won't be able to move on with a step, but not clearly marked in the directions, and you wouldn't notice it was the wrong way until several steps down the line, making it so you have to then unassemble and do it all over again from that point. Also, note that wherever you decide to assemble this, that you'll need sufficient clearance, well beyond you'd think to assemble the crossbar and its pieces since they have to slide in and are fixed long pieces. We ended up having to rig up a contraption to half hold them in to get the whole thing up since despite having a few extra feet of space on each side, wasnt enough without hitting the walls or the ceiling during assembly. But other than the assembly issues, the product seems great and sturdy. The storage on the stairs is a nice touch. Would recommend this.

It’s a great bed but it’s a terrible process to put together. It took my husband and I 5 hours total to get it done. Instructions are awful, they are about 70% clear. Husband and I had to redo pieces 3 times🤣 Our kid is insanely happy with it, so there’s that. Also if this is not for a child, definitely check the width dimensions for the stairs as they are skinnnny! I have to go sideways and still barely fit. On top of that we had several pieces that were not filed down appropriately to be able to accept the pieces, missing screws, and some pieces that were doubled? Maybe the last part was intentional. I reached out to the manufacturer to get the pieces that cannot be attached (the entire top step) replaced. My kid can still use it considering he is a teen but a smaller child may find issue with it. Last small issue. They include strip lights but not a battery for the remote. Kinda weird thing to skip out on. All in all, it does the job and is very sturdy. They do try with the instructions but it is such a complex project that it can be difficult to read until after you get there. Kid is very happy. That’s the best part.
