Belts, as a whole, tend to be fairly basic. Yes, there are "statement belts" on the market, but this is a great everyday option for the average Jane. I like that the leather-like material is soft and flexible rather than ridged, and the color is quite pretty. The weave makes it easy to adjust sizing depending on where you are using the belt (hips to waist) without damaging it at all. Overall, it does what you'd expect a belt to do. While I don't think any of these make the belt unusable or not worth buying, there are a few small things to note. First, it's longer than I expected. I used the size chart, but I probably could have sized down and been just fine. Second, it does take some finagling to get the tail of the belt through the loop (not the buckle, but the loop). It will go through, and it looks really good once everything is situated, but you might have to force it in a little. Finally, this belt is listed as "elastic," but there isn't a ton of stretch. More than a traditional leather belt, but not nearly as much as some other woven elastic belts I've seen on the market. Since the belt was already a bit long on me, that didn't matter so much, but just something to be aware of. Overall, it's a good belt, and I expect that I'll get lots of use from it.

This is a beautiful belt. The braided designs really accent your outfit. I like the brown. It looks nice with my neutral blouses when I wear a pair of jeans with it. It's important that you order your correct size. Because it is braided, you cannot cut it down to make the waist smaller, like I usually do with a leather belt -- it's not even noticeable and a great way to keep a nice belt if it's too big. However, NOT WITH THIS ONE. I am 5'3, 135 lbs, 30 inch waist, have a pouch in my belly (unless I am holding it in) and I ordered a Medium. I do have a bit of 'excess' leather on the belt, but it is not a problem...

Smelled really bad when I took it out of the bag it came in. I let it air out for a few days before I used it to get rid of the odor. It’s made of polyurethane leather so maybe that’s what the odor was. I got the one that stated it would fit a 39” waist and it fits perfect. Not a lot of overhang when I buckle it. The “gold” buckle has a really yellow gold look with sort of specs all over which did match the pictures online. I wish they offered silver buckles but this will work. It is so soft it feels like real leather. Love it.

I am 5 ft 5, 210 pounds. I usually wear a size XL, or 14 pants. Based off their size chart in the image reels, it stated that I needed a 2XL for my 42 inch waist. so I sized up and got a 2XL instead of an XL. It is too big for me. However, if you like the style of the extra foot or so hanging off the buckle, then maybe it is the right size for you. 2XL measures 52inches from tip to tip. I got the color brown and it’s a nice, neutral shade. I do like that there are no official holes, so the belt looks more upscale immediately. I wouldn’t say this style is for holding pants up, more of a fashion choice. It’s soft and flexible. It feels like nice quality, so I’m giving it 5 starts even though the size chart is wrong in the image reels (separate chart listed in description is more accurate).

I'm very pleased with this braided belt. The buckle is more of a copper color, not gold which really accents the pretty light tan color I chose. It has a slight stretchy feel and you have multiple options for lengthening with a braided belt. The width fits all my jeans perfectly. The one negative that I'm concerned with is the end of the belt is difficult to pull through the metal loop of the belt. I'm afraid it will rub too many times causing it to look bad or tear the side. Please realize this is not a leather belt as the product description states in the first line. When you scroll down to product details it does state it is polyurethane leather which is a synthetic material designed to mimic the look and feel of genuine leather. I actually thought they did a pretty good job for the price. I am a size 12 and chose an XL which fits great with extra length at the end.

No issues with the belt. The leather is material is thick and will probably hold up through lots of use. The size chart is a little confusing though. It's measurements are based off waist measurements but that's not the length of the belt since it will have extra length to fit your hips. The waist measurement for the belt I ordered was 6 inches less than my hips, but it still fits and had some extra length to spare too (so actual length of belt 6 inches longer than measurements from sizing chart). If ordering I would order based off the clothing size on the chart instead of measurements
