The fabric of this skirt is thinner/shinier than I hoped for. It's almost like a jersey knit fabric. Definitely not a structured fabric. That said, the fit is fine and it looks ok on me, so I'll keep it. I'm 5'2" and normally wear a 6 in pants. I got the skirt in medium. Update a few months later: the look of the buttons really bothered me because they looked cheap and stuck out from the skirt too much. Sometimes they got caught on things. You could easily see the cheap white plastic on the back of the buttons. It was stupid to not use black plastic. Anyway, I removed the buttons and cut off the bit that stuck out and glued them flat onto the skirt. I had to use 2 part epoxy glue since the first two glues I used didn't stick to the cheap plastic.

Don’t need to read this review. Just put it in your cart and buy it. But for those that need a bit more assurance, this skirt is lightweight, doesn’t need a slip, is extremely flattering and very classy/feminine. Looks best with a tucked in shirt so you can see the cute belt. Better in taller ladies as it is a bit long (in a good way). I’m 5’9 and it hits right at my knee. Tiny slit in the front which is perfect. Flexible, comfy, lovely. I have three now.

I love this skirt. It's flattering and hugs my curve respectfully. I'm soooo disappointed. I bought this instead of others because of the belt. So when it arrived without a belt. I tried to contact the seller. Am I supposed to return t to reorder and hope I get a belt? I wanted to order a 2nd skirt in another color because I love the softness and elegance of the skirt but I'm afraid to get less than I expected again. So I'll couldn't give 5 stars. I'll update when or if I hear from the seller.

The skirt is cute and has a nice design concept with the ruching, buttons, and the thin belt. However, I found the skirt to be larger than expected. I usually have an easy fit in dresses and skirts, but this one didn't work for me. The fabric is thinner and flimsier than I anticipated. I don’t want to bother with returning it for another size. Instead, I’m going to wash and dry it to see if it shrinks a bit and fits better.
