The skirt can easily be worn in professional or casual environments. It is a nice length, below the knees and it has a nice high-waist which has a good stretch to it. My wife said it felt like the designer wasn't considering what is in fashion now so it has a bit of a "meh" and slightly matronly look to it, even with the side slit. it might be the style of buttons that just don't work?

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased this skirt for a funeral I had to go to and had no time to go shopping. The pictures of it looked good but the fabric wasn’t that good and the fit was poor. Because it was a last minute purchase I had no choice but to wear it but it was not a keeper for me. I put it with my donation items.

Love this skirt. It is high waisted, has cute buttons on the front with a front slit. It is super comfortable. I sized up one size and I am happy about it. The material is nice and is not see through. My only dislike is the folded over material at the pockets make it stick out a bit. But love it.
