I love to see some video with my phone, but I can't watch video with full screen during I charge my phone with this speaker because you can put your phone only one way on this speaker for charging.     • Power cord unusable. Terrible. Complete junk.

The prongs in the power cord are not long enough to stay in the wall socket and the box that the prongs are attached to is too heavy resulting in a poor connection and no power, or with the plug just repeatedly falling out of the wall despite trying crazy thing like taping the plug to the wall, etc. trying extension cords, different sockets, plug adapters, etc did not work. When the power reaches the unit the Bluetooth connection works well and it sounds great. But the plug makes the whole thing useless and it doesn’t work unless connected. The attachment of the power cord to the unit is an odd shape and another appropriate cord I had would not fit into the hole in the housing of the unit for the power cord. The company does not send out replacement cords. The Belkin customer service is terrible - the online chat tells you to call a number for speaker service which doesn’t pick up - I sat on hold for >5 hours several days running; they have a function that is supposed to call you back if you confirm your number which I did several times but no call in 3 weeks. I returned and replaced the unit via Amazon and the replacement unit had the exact same problem. The unit is attractive but is a very expensive piece of junk if the cord won’t work. Can’t tell you how much of a headache this has been. 100% don’t buy. ... show more

I like the sound from the Devialet system, really unique and dynamic, I can hear the sounds in difference layers, which is totally out of my expectation. I bought it for $79.99, which is good value for money. Alexa is quit easy to use, however it is less user friendly than Google Assistant.

When I first got this speaker, it worked great. Then the disconnecting started happening after a few weeks until I couldn’t get through more than a song or two before it would drop connectivity. Amazon replaced the speaker for me. The second one lasted longer, so I thought it was good. Then, recently, I noticed I couldn’t connect to it because it wasn’t on. I figured maybe it was the outlet, but the plug wouldn’t stay plugged in. I tried a different outlet and the plug kept falling out. If I held the plug in place, the device would power on, but the second I let go, the plug would spark and start falling out just slightly. Then I figured it was gravity. The same thing happens with my MacBook charger, so I got an extension so the plug could go down towards the ground. When plugging it in, I saw small sparks again and of course the device never powered on. This speaker’s plug is a fire hazard. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend even at 50% off. ... show more

I wanted a speaker for my office with AirPlay capability, so that I could play music from my iPhone, iPad or Mac. I already have an Echo Spot on my desk, so I keep the speaker "muted" after setting up Alexa, since they compete sometimes. In addition, while this speaker is playing music via AirPlay, it doesn't answer Alexa questions. I designated it as the "default" speaker for my office, so when I ask Alexa on the Echo Spot to play music, it's played on the Belkin speaker. The size of the speaker is great, it goes well with the office decor with its white/gray tones, and the wireless charging works fine for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I never had to move the phone to start charging so far; every time I drop it on, it starts charging. I can even charge my AirPods Pros if I put a similar size item (e.g., an eraser) under it to elevate it to the middle of the charging area. The sound quality is better than I expected. It's not at the level of Bose or Apple homepod, but it's acceptable. The app is very limited in its functionality. You'll use it to set up AirPlay and Alexa, then you won't need it again, because it won't let you change EQ, apply different sound profiles, etc. It's very limited in function. The weakest part of this speaker is unfortunately the huge power brick. For some reason, Belkin decided to include flimsy, foldable prongs with it, and if you plug it directly to the wall, it'll fall off eventually. If you plug and unplug it repeatedly, then the connection between the tiny prongs and the charger breaks and the unit won't turn on again. You can try holding it in a certain angle to make connections again, then it'll start sparking, which is dangerous! My solution is to plug it into a short extension cord, and place it on a surface sideways that no amount of force is applied to the flimsy, foldable prongs. I don't play on moving this, and if I need to unplug it, I'll do it from the short extension cord and move it carefully. It's such a pain but necessary to ensure longevity of the speaker. Belkin, if you're reading this, please update the design of your charging block to a more reliable one! ... show more

Very frustrating as it is my second used purchase of the same device - the first came without a charger - and it took 2 days, a chat and a phone call with Belkin to get it functional and then find out it doesn't work with Google Home.
