I got what I paid for when it comes to that low of a price. The finish is NOT brushed nickel. It took us a very long time to install and we ended up having to do modifications to it for it to work correctly with our tub location. Thankfully my husband is a contractor otherwise I really doubt I would have been able to get it installed and sufficiently anchored. The anchors with the unit are a joke - figure on buying replacements. All in all you simply get what you pay for. There is a reason the pretty and perfect ones are $300+ each. ... show more

Looking for an adjustable rectangular curtain rod for your shower? Look no further! This is the one to get. Who on earth has a tub and/or shower that's the right distance from the wall, or has the right height ceiling to work with all of the non-adjustable rectangular shower curtain rods out there? Does anyone else think it's crazy that most of them aren't adjustable? While this one does require some work with cutting the metal tubes, it can be customized in every dimension except the width and I was able to get a perfect custom installation in my 100 yr/old home for an antique clawfoot tub. The manufacturer intends for some of the tubes to be cut for custom sizing: - the adjustable tube for ceiling height - the tubes mounting to the wall for distance from the wall However, the rectangle itself is not really intended to be adjusted, but you can technically cut the tubes to make it a shorter length. It is NOT possible to cut the tubes to adjust the width; only the length. I love how the bigger frame makes my shower feel so much more spacious now! ... show more

So glad we bought this to replace a showering ring that was too small. It was definitely a challenge to put up but once it was installed it looks great. You will likely need a saw to install it and a drill was very helpful!

Many of the screw holes weren't threaded, so you have to jam the screw into the hole and use the screw to make the threads. Of the few screw holes that had threads, two didn't hold the screws as the threads were too large. I ended up cobbing it together using wood behind the screws and screws of my own. It wasn't worth the hassle to return it. Don't buy this product, I will have to buy another one to replace it when I have time. Side note: the rods that attach to the wall are quite short so it will only fit properly on a shower that is right up against the wall. ... show more

My husband installed this above our jetted tub to give us a shower there as well. We really like it, added shower curtains and a bath tub safety rail because of the depth of our tub to make it complete. It seems quite sturdy.
