This blanket is really soft and warm. I originally bought it for a light summer blanket. I put it underneath my comforter and over my sheet on my bed. It works great. It is now January and cold outside it keeps me warm. The instructions said to wash it in cold water. After I washed the blanket there was a lot of lint inside the washing machine. There was also a lot more lint in the dryer. This was a good deal for about $20.00. I would buy it again ... show more

This blanket is as expected. As a 100% cotton blanket, watch out the first time you wash it. It will shrink some, and make sure that you clear the lint trap in your washer and dryer. The amount of lint that came out of this was a whole lot, enough to damage your dryer especially. I have only washed once, when it arrived. Will be watching the subsequent washes for excess lint. I bought this blanket at the end of summer, and now, with the fall in full swing, it keeps me warm at night without adding any extra weight. The simple and efficient waffle design is ideal for warmth and comfort not only for the chilly nights but for the daytime naps as well. The material is well made and folds very easily. It is the right size for the average bed and can serve as a nice throw for any sofa as well. It is good thing that it comes in several colors. Nice, heavy blanket. After 2 washes (washer and dryer) there are no snags no pilling, and little to no shrinking. The color is exactly as shown and I purchased Sage Green. I bought another one a while ago in teal and I would give it the same review. It had held up well.

I'm not one to exaggerate so when I say that this blanket is so soft and cozy, I mean it. I got a Queen size because I prefer to be able to burrito myself. The knitting is thick enough to let cool air in but not so much that you will get cold. Just enough to keep you from overheating. My only complaint was that I needed to wash it when I first got it because it had an odor and was very stiff. But a quick wash made it perfect!
