The iron was inexpensive comparatively to most on the market so I didn’t get my hopes up. But wow, was I ever pleased. The iron is solid and well made. No loose nobs etc. it heats instantly and only the ceramic iron portion. The rest stays cool. I’ve only used it on the lower settings but it works quickly and smoothly. This is a great affordable hair straightener. It feels durable - I’d feel comfortable tossing it in a suitcase for a week, but it is still lightweight, which makes styling easy. It has 5 heat settings from 320°F to 460°F. My wavy hair straightens nicely at 390°F, 430°F works well for curling the ends, and I use the highest setting for full curls. It performs well and looks sleek. This straightener glides through my hair with ease - avoiding tugging and breakage. It also came with a travel pouch and heat glove, which is a nice bonus. My only complaint is the power button—it’s on the inside, so you have to unlock and open it before turning it on. Not a huge issue, just a bit inconvenient.

This is a great flat iron! Used it on my thick, wavy, curly 3c/4a hair and it came out very nice! I used 430 degrees heat. Pros: 1. Power button is on the inside so I won't accidentally shut it off while using it. 2. The rounded barrel allows me to curl my hair or at least bump the ends, especially on shorter hair (my bangs). 3. The cord has a velcro tie to kep it tidy when not in use. 4. The violet color is so nice and vibrant! 5. The price point! 6. It has a 'lock' feature which allows it to store easily as opposed to using a rubber band or the cord to keep the plates together when you're not using it. Cons: 1. It shut off once on its own while I was using it and I'm not sure how. However, this is minor considering it was off for about 1 minute while I spent at least an hour flat ironing my whole head.

Just as a preface, I haven’t used it yet. I’m only basing my review of what I got in the box. Will update later. But the packaging is very nice. Also beware if you order any other color, the packaging makes it look red. I was about to return it without even opening it. 🤣 But not only do you get the straightener for the low price. They also included a warranty card, temporary tattoos, instructions, a bag, a heat resistant glove, bobby pins, hair ties/scrunchies, clips, and a comb. I am so impressed. This was probably in the description but I didn’t look closely. Can’t wait to try it! It’s standard size. Cord isn’t the longest, but it doable. Seems like great quality just from the looks of it.
