I needed a quick solution to help curb my younger dogs need to hang on my older dogs neck all the time soo wasn’t expecting anything more then a thin cheap spiked collar. I was surprised when it showed up and is actually really thick and solid feeling. Having huskies I am used to spending a good deal of money on high end collars so we don’t have escapes. I haven’t tested this one in that regard but it feels solid enough I think it would hold. At this time I am loving the collar. It is not super wide so he seems comfortable with it. I saw another review that encouraged me to buy this over other similar products. What it said was something about how they were expecting something cheap for the price and yet they were blown away by the quality. I whole-heartedly agree. For $15? What a great deal. It seems like it's made very well, the size is spot on, and it looks great. And as an added plus, I think my Sweetie likes it too. The pink version really says, "Look out, I'm a girl dog!". This Dog Collar is most awesome! I have a a beautiful black & white pit bull / Lab mix named Ms. Mary Jane. She is a puppy .... and she is pretty rough on things!! She is not easy on collars, leashes and harnesses. It can be a little frustrating at times! To add to the problem, she has pretty much slipped out or broken most every collar we have purchased for her .... And so, I became determined to find a collar that would be durable, sturdy and also ditch-proof. This collar definitely fits the bill! Ms. Mary Jane loves her new collar. She doesn't even try to take it off. She sports it about and shows it off like she's a doggie fashion icon. I know ... it sounds funny, but it's very true. I don't understand other reviews who have said their collars have failed on them. I've had this collar on our puppy for several weeks now and it shows no wear or tear ... no signs of breakage of any sort! It has retained every bit of it's structure and every detail remains on it as when we first purchased it. We are very pleased with our purchase and would heartily recommend this to friends & family! This collar is super cool and stylish looking. It is very durable looks great on my girl. She loves it and hates to have it taken off for her baths. The buckles are heavy duty bronze. It is a very wide collar so if you have a small dog it may not be to suitable. The only negative I can possibly put on this collar is that the black paint on the spikes does chip off a bit when she is aggressively playing outdoors with her training collar on. But it's not enough of an issue for me to not give it a 5 star review. I'll probably just polish them to a shiney silver eventually and it may look even better that way. And the price is well worth it, a cheap nylon collar at my local pet store cost 5 dollars more than this and was made with cheap plastic buckles. ... show more

I wanted a delicate looking spike collar to protect my dogs neck if he should get attacked. I did not want some big bad junk yard looking spike collar but I wanted one thick enough to protect his neck. This one is classy and suits my purpose. I adore this collar! It's very well made and thicker than I thought it would be. Which is a great thing! The length is a touch too big, but that's on me and my measuring skills. On the bright side it's more room to grow. Amazing product! Very pleased!

The leather is good quality and has held up nice I have a great dane and it fit her perfect. The problem I did have was I lost the spikes quickly and the skull fell off within the first 3 weeks. I went with a spike collar not for looks but because when my 2 dogs play they get ahold of eachothers collars. So the fact that the spikes didn't hold up was a big deal for me. ... show more
