    • Very easy and good cover
It only took me 10-15 min with the video to put this together. I set it up beside our deck because our shih tzu hates to go in the rain. It’s even tall enough for our fully grown husky. Stays stable in the wind with the metal stakes. The cover also withheld the rain and some ice.

I am using this canopy in perhaps a unique way. I live in WI, and we were looking for a way to keep the weather out of our chicken coop. So I purchased this product.     • Cheap materials
I don’t think the material is worth the price but it will do the job. I had to remove and reapply the velcro in order for it to reach due to the material being too short. Then i had to reseal the holes wear the velcro was originally sewn. Overall a hassle to put together.

    • Directions are horrible!
When we assembled the frame, most of the metal connectors did not pop out through the holes. When we followed the directions and had finished assembling the metal portion, we had to disconnect the bottom bars so we could add the tarp cover. Wishing there were more pegs for securing to the ground. Since this is being used outside our chicken coop, time will tell how well this will hold up during windy weather. ... show more

The dog shade has been wonderful for our Bernedoodle. In the summer, it provided a shady spot for her to relax and the shade has been valuable in the winter to provide a snow free area when she is outside to play. The shade has weathered well and has not been affected by high winds during thunderstorms. It is study and still looks like it did the day we set it up.
