    • Won’t Protect Against 100 ft Fir Tree

The tarp was working great as an outer shell over a frame to cover a camping platform. 2 years in everything was working great. At that point I’d give it 5 stars. Then a 100 ft fir tree fell on it and the darn thing ripped! Can you believe that? Sheesh, for $100 you’d think it would stand up against a mere 1000 lbs of crushing force, but I guess you get what you pay for. It is out of warranty, so I guess I’ll be stuck having to buy another one. But if you need something that can withstand a giant fir tree landing on it, look else-where, or maybe go with a concrete bunker. Otherwise this one works great. ... show more

We purchased as a temporary roof for our porch. There are what appear to be defects throughout the entire tarp, and i wouldn’t consider it “heavy duty”.

Marketed as heavy duty but not really the case. Outer corner grommets are reinforced well, but all others not reinforced. Used a bungee cord on one of the side grommets and it popped out immediately so had to reinforce with duct tape

I liked the color very much. The size was great. My dislikes were the imperfections. it had a couple of peppered tiny holes on the tarp and some lines like poor stitching. One of the grommets was placed too close to the edge where it looks like it will rip easily. It was too much work to put up, when problems were clear, and to bring down to return is too much trouble for a 61 year old. ... show more

Bought 3 of these as covers for our outdoor seating couches and they literally started fraying and disintegrating after only 4 months of being outside in the sun. I tried numerous times to contact the seller about this problem with no response.
