  • Very easy to use
Awesome board with many features. I'm running this to utilize with bands and party music. My setup is: 1. MAIN L/R passive output to behringer equalizer then to iNUKE-6000 power amp and then to 2 JBL PRX 415's as my mains. 2. MON 2 send passive output to CROWN xti-II 4002 power amp bridge sub mode and then to 2 JBL PRX 418's (Allows me to isolate my low end to just IPOD music, KICK MIC, and KEYBOARDS 3. Powered output is switched to MON 1(A)-MONO (B). (A) output is used to run monitors by linking speakers (Board equalizer can be used for either mains or mon1, I switch it to MON1 and use it to EQ my monitors). MONO (B) is currently not used but could be used to isolate another out going speaker or to a speaker in another VIP room. 4. I bought audio technica headphones and it came with a 1/4" jack adapter for the board insert. PFL buttons for every channel allow the person running the board to isolate different signals. 5. FX effects are awesome and able to be sent to both MAIN signals and both MON 1 & MON 2. The voice pitch effects are perfect for haunted houses and crazy voices. Im going to totally do a haunted house this coming Halloween 2014. Only suggestion would be to buy the PMP6000 board because it is not that much more in cost and weight but allows for two FX channels and and more input/output jacks. ... show more

  • Pleasant surprise!
I needed a PA system for an install in a church parish hall (gym/large multi-event room). The requirements included wanting to play music before and during breaks in events & announcements - basketball & volleyball games as well as supporting school plays. This board has plenty of power in a compact, easy to use layout. We coupled this board with a pair of Peavey PR-15s and...wow. The board and the speakers fill the space well. Plenty of power without killing the room, great flexibility with the variety of inputs and outputs. Keep in mind - this is not a 4kW band PA for a 2000 seat room. It did great in its first challenge though:. 450 adults for a fundraiser night, dinner, beverages and dancing. No problem with room to spare. iPod playing digital music, two mics for the announcers to banter and everything was clean. Turn around time was awesome by the way. Ordered on Friday and in my hands on Tuesday. ... show more

  • Great mixer for a great price, little under powered
This is a great powered mixer and exactly what I needed for a steal of a price. I'm in a local cover band and use it in my home studio to practice with the band and will eventually use it out to run sound and power monitors. Tip: I saw some reviews saying they didn't like that it doesn't have track by track outputs. This isn't totally true. When I'm at home we record track by track from the mixer into my computer setup. The mixer has Insert I/O ports for every track. If you put a 1/4 inch TS cable into that port to only the first click (not all the way in) you will get a line out of the source. I take that line out and run them into my computer audio device (see pics). The output won't have any effects from the mixer but I like it better that way cause then i can really craft the sound on the recording software. I took off one star as it seems under powered. Theoretically I should be able to run two large passive speakers with this mixer to play a decent sized gig. From what I've played around with it doesn't have enough power for that. We're gonna use the mixer to run a couple sets of monitors which should be enough power. Also, in the dual mono output mode, we'll be able to have one monitor set playing the main output and another playing a custom output in case the vocals want to hear themselves higher in the mix which is a nice option. We'll have to get some powered mains to run off the main preamp output but with those, our passive monitors and this mixer we got a full rig for a low price. Sound is good. I'm not getting any noise when its turned up and everything sounds very clear. Haven't really tried the surround option in a live setting but that could be really neat. Hoping the reliability is good but we'll see. The effects on here are okay but our vocals have their own processors so they won't get used much. If you want to run a dedicated sub channel or will use a lot of mixer effects and want the option to run effects combos on each track then look at the PMP6000. ... show more

  • Fantastic!
We were unsure how this was going to work with our DJ equipment, but we LOVE IT! It is perfect for our small DJ business my husband & I do on the side. We 1st tried it out at our granddaughters 11th birthday party. She had several of her friends over & they rocked the party with karaoke! They had a blast & so did we playing with our new toy. It does everything we want & more. We had wireless mics & corded mics hooked up to it along with 2 speakers & 2 monitors. My computer, a 6 cd player. This is an awesome value!! Well worth it!!! ... show more

  • Poorly constructed equipment
I purchased this amp on Aug 2012 and started using it the next day it arrived. It has been nothing but trouble since I got it because of its poorly designed construction. I even said it was "possessed" because you would be on stage and the volume would adjust itself. You could connect all the speakers like they were supposed to be, everything would be working properly. Cut it off and come back 15 minutes later and the right side wouldn't work or the left. I have had to connect speakers in all different kind of ways until I ran out of options. I even spoke to a Behringer authorized service person today and his suggestion was the next time I go to the trash dump, carry it with me. He said Behringer didn't give a damn and I would get no response from them even though the amplifier is just over a year old. He said they had no parts for them and that the connections inside were of poor quality and that's the reason it wouldn't work. He has since quit servicing Behringer. Also it was made in China. So I will do as the service rep told me unless Amazon or Behringer wants to make it right. I look forward to hearing from either one. Totally dissatisfied is not the words. ... show more
