This is a good little sewing machine for small projects. It is literally ready to use right out of the box, and I did just that. It is already threaded for you. I have a much nicer sewing machine that this one, and it will be still be what I use for big projects, but this one is a good addition. It's more lightweight and portable, and it's got the full slit making it really easy to sew sleeves and other small openings. It has a decent amount of accessories, and it just works like it should. For around a hundred dollars, this is a good value for a little sewing machine. It will be useful for teaching my kids who are old enough, and getting them started on some easy projects. The instructions are helpful if you are familiar with sewing. While it's a good beginner machine, if you are a beginner yourself, you might want someone more experienced to show you some pointers. It comes with black and white thread and pre-loaded bobbins. Note that it does say to only use metal bobbins, as the magnet inside helps with the correct tension.

I've never once in my life used a sewing machine and I had my neighbor come over and show me how to use this one. I was able to pick it up super easily. It threads really easy and is fast! I bought it because my dog ripped the corner off of comforter in his crate and I wanted to sew it up but didnt want to do it my hand (it didnt need to be pretty just work). This sewing machine created a really sturdy seam that hasn't been ripped again so id say it works incredibly well! 100$ is a pretty steep price but I also know super nice sewing machines cost a ton more so id say that it was definitely worth the money!

She's not the Leading Lady but definitely the Supporting Actress. I got this little beauty as a side-kick to my big machine. She's small and compact. Has everything you need to plug & play. I will use this for small projects as I think a larger job could potentially be a bit awkward to work. I do wish that someone would have thought to put big suction feet on it as it it very lightweight. Great teaching tool for young hands. Thinking about grandkids....I've got a couple of girls locally and a grandson who is a Theater Kid. Knowing how to sew could certainly be a plus for him in that world. I am pleased with this little gem
