This mat is great for indoor or outdoor use. I am going to use it with my new simulator. I like that it can hold tees and has different types of surfaces. The bigger size is great also. The pad and grass is not as thick as my previous one I used, but should work. will see how it holds up as it gets more use.

I had previously purchased a much smaller hitting mat that was about 2 ft x 3 ft and I regretted it almost instantly because my feet were lower than the hitting surface. There wasn't enough room for everything. This mat more than solved the problem. It is plenty big enough to accommodate your stance and the hitting area. I don't actually hit balls off of it, but it's great for practicing your swing and loosening up before a round or a trip to the range. The surface is very sturdy, and the "grass" looks as though it will hold up for a very long time. It arrives rolled up and the instructions say to lay it out for 5 days to let it unfurl. I just put a paint can over two of the corners and it was good to go after three or four hours. I highly recommend this mat.
